A second person would give him someone to focus on instead of chat, which would definitely help with how he seems to blame chat for his tech problems. I know he is really upset with their response to his tech issues, but their response to him fucking up the tech is pretty well justified.

Well, TBF to Sean, if @Balldo's Gate and @Himedall All-seeing Waifu are correct, and many of Rekieta's biggest LOCALS retards are switching to him as Rekieta continues to implode, I might not necessarily blame him too much.

A lot of those people are legitimately stupid as fuck. I agree with Balldo's Gate that a little bit of gatekeeping might not be such a bad idea. They are only there because Nick is complete mess and they finally figured out daddy doesn't actually love them (only their money) and they are never getting their 5k gift. If there were smarter, or actually liked Sean, they would have moved sooner.

His chat absolutely is full of morons, no doubt. The incident I was thinking of was during the short lived Baldwin trial and Streamyard was routinely dropping the audio. He kept getting pissy at chat. It was honeslty justified both ways. Like, if Streamyard is fucking up, just use OBS. It's not hard at all to use OBS just to stream a screen capture. Fucking Ralph manages to do it high and drunk. It's trickier if you are trying to have guests on, but in that case just don't have guests until Streamyard fixes their shit. But chat also needs to calm down. Too many tech illiterate idiots offering retarded suggestions.

He still routinely talks while muted. Which just baffles me. I often have virtual meetings at work and I've never done that. It's not hard to remember you're muted.

Just yesterday or the day before while watching the Benefeld trial, chat told him to replay her leaving the court room and he skipped back too far, then paused right before the thing happened that chat wanted him to see and demanded to know exactly what to look for before rewinding again. Like, nigger, calm down and just play a little longer. It's so obvious that I spotted when it when he was rewinding the first time. It's like he constantly thinks chat is fucking with him. Which sometimes they are, but he needs to learn to handle it calmer.

I dunno, it's kinda a no win situation. He has an idiotic chat but he also seems to be kind tech dumb himself so the two factors feed off each other.

Sean can be entertaining on certain topics that I care about. I don't care for him by himself, and I treat him as a resource for a summary of legal happening and events.

Most of the time, I find his content boring and cannot stand to leave it running in thr background. Some of that had to do with the constant pauses and dead air. Sean is not a natural entertainer, but for what I want, it is enough. I am more surprised that there are people who will listen for hours on end...

Emily is a bit too... much... for my liking, and she attracts a demographic that is definitely not mine...

As stated above, Sean is jot an entertainer, bur when he digs in to a point, he does well. The overall presentation is a bit lacking, but not something he cannot overcome.

The LOCALS people are lurking at the edges of Sean's streams and circle. A lot of the core audience are disaffected pre-LOCALS audience--not LOCALS tards. I think that most of these keep many of thr abject retards from getting much of a foothold, but they are also more visible due to the increased tendency to Super Chat.

This demonstrates to me that Nick's old audience and new were fundamentally incompatible and another indicator of his hard pivot. Sean inherited a hardened core of support, but can that expand? Who knows...

He does tend to boomer the audio on his streams quite a bit. As far as getting pissy with the chat, I think he's said he's not getting mad at the chat he's trying to let them know he's seeing their messages and he's working on it (although it does come off like he's annoyed). Probably moreso with himself for fucking up.

At least he now can see the chat spamming him when he mutes something. He used to just talk for minutes at a time while being muted because he couldn't see chat.

I dunno. I just don't think the tech issues are the biggest problem. Those can be ironed out with more time and experience. Maybe his fiance can help.

I think the FAR more disconcerting issue with Sean is the absolute trash that's rowing up to him in the lifeboats marked "S.S. Balldo," together with any association with Ralph. I think that will bite him in the ass if he's not careful. Especially the latter one.

Just my $0.02. Sean claims he values honest constructive opinions.

Learning how to use streamer programs isn't hard, if someone can't sit their ass for two to three hours to do trial and error and get a workflow going that's on them and they deserve all the shit they get from the audience, no exceptions.

It's that or hire someone to either teach or do the tech while making sure the relationship with the tech monkey you have is strictly professional, no audience members, no friends, no family members, and most definitely not letting them on the stream as a co-host.

Pretty much this. It is not hard to develop a simple workflow. Even Boomer Joe has it down and was able to figure it out on that StreamYard panel announcement stream with Hunley in about 25 minutes.
 
Sean's inability to learn the tech is frustrating when he lectures chat about things everything should be competent with if they engage in a particular activity. "You shoot guns? You need to make sure you have medical supplies and the knowledge to use them! You stream? Man, streaming is hard, it just messes up, must be the program even though nobody else has this issue."

As far as I'm concerned, he can be full of unburned calories. Just as long as he's not full of shit.
