ngl, I have no opinion on the abortion shit either way but the idea of planned parrent hood taking advantage of a woman's pregnancy complications to try and Frankenwiener a rotdog/neovag makes me hate them as an organization. They call the dead baby a "byproduct of the pregnancy" and classify it as medical waste which then enters into possession of the State Government, which (in the states currently allowing abortion) means that they usually donate it for medical research. Current medical research can be any frankenstein nightmare world shit.
In most European countries elective abortions are allowed up until around 12 weeks and past that only for serious medical reasons such as the life of the mother being at risk or the fetus having serious birth defects (there is no point in forcing a woman to carry to term a baby without lungs that will die upon birth due to the high risks that pregnancy present for women). I think this is sensible.
If the debate was about exceptions to the rule then I don't think abortion would ever be a serious political issue but that's not what it is about, I don't like you framing it as an anti women issue. There are plenty of conservatives and religious women who view it that way and agree. I'm sure if you look at the Oklahoma voting pattern you wil see that it is a majority conservative state and that white men and women voted for this. You are making a terrible point. I do think that if a women's life is in danger or the baby is dead then its okay for the abortion to happen but the discussion about abortion is around it being used as a contraceptive which I view as disgusting.

You do have to admit though that proper usage of contraceptives is more tasteful than a cycle of pregnancy and abortion. Why wouldn't we as a society push to perfect contraceptive measures to reduce abortions and the effect the conflict around it raises
