Hell, history doesn't even enter into it... both of them are bars that are actually produced by capitalism, by a mega transnational confection conglomerate, no less. (and that's only accepting that the bottom bar isn't just a photoshop; it looks like some of their higher-weight bars do have those bigger gaps)

They recently announced they'd be making the Toblerone bars like the ones in the bottom pic so the length would stay the same, even as the weight went down. It was that or shrink the bar all around or raise the price simply due to inflation. Or as was described above me

Social Justice and Political Correctness are both Marxist concepts. Why do you think they are so authoritarians who don't tolerate dissent and require people to be re-educated the second they step out of the orthodoxy?

I'm not really interested in a political debate on this subject but left wing politics is not some monolith anymore than right wing politics is. You can't simply staple everything you don't like under the sjw umbrella. otherwise the term is just right wing hyperbole

Au contraire.

Powerleveling but a very good friend of mine is in his 40's and grew up in soviet (the) Ukraine.

I once said something equally ignorant about his lack of quality clothing as a child. He quickly corrected me, stating quite firmly that the the quality of soviet goods was far higher than the tat we buy cheaply from sweat shops.
What the soviet system lacked was range and choice.

So quality or novelty, your choice.
