Because so few actual conspiracies this big get to be kept 100% secret. Could it be kept buried 'till election day? Sure, but it is also possible Patrick will stop drinking, lose weight, write a novel that makes him millions in books sales and stop being a asshole both online and offline.

Remember the first announcements, when they said nothing more than 'loud sounds heard, Trump rushed offstage"? As though nothing major had happened, and he panicked because of balloons popping.

The state will be filing their brief to dismiss the lawsuit by Thursday. He has three weeks to respond.

He clearly did this himself to have something for the lawyers (which isn't how it works, but he thinks it works this way). He's getting desperate. Also note that he didn't say anything about how the officers handled it because they were probably professional.

I'd love to see his e-mails to the legal team.
