Now the dollar supply has to be backed by an actual asset of some kind, which the US can do in theory.
A fiat currency is backed by the economy as a whole. Fiat currency avoids the risk of deflation and economic stagnation as occurs in the gold/silver standard when the money supply does not match economic growth/prosperity. But it comes with the risk of inflation if managed poorly, which is usually what happens to fiat currencies because they have the nifty feature of letting one cheat and print free money to expand the economy/pay people/whatever, and eventually the people running the economy get addicted to this and use the money printer in lieu of other solutions.

Maybe Trump's got a plan out of it, but I doubt it considering he also used the money printer to fight COVID. All I know for sure is the Dems definitely don't plan on fighting inflation.

People jokes about the 'mean tweets' thing but by the end I was sure tired of them. He really screwed up there and lost a lot of support, more than most think I believe. That and Covid, even more than cheating, are what I think got him out.
literally no one gave a shit about the tweets except the media and their brainwashed npcs but alright

They can't, or won't, even pretend to respect you, white men, enough to refer to you as white men. It's always an infantilizing term they use, always a mockery of you as a serious person and as a group: "dudes, bros, [white] boys and [white] guys, etc." Well, unless they're absolutely seething at you which is when they'll use the blanket of "Men" to recognize you, but only as a threat that's posed; they use it in the way an angry parent calls you by your full name.
I think it’s just that they’ve spent the past decade turning “white man” into a pejorative, they can’t bring themselves to say the words now that they need them.

Why is that? What are they afraid of?
Idk if this is why, but Vance is a Post-Liberal, meaning he rejects some of the fundamental assumptions of the current world order. Especially regarding Individual liberty vs common good.
I could see why someone with that view point becoming VP might scare TPTB.

And DU says we're screwed anyway. It's over.

Ya know I don't like the Arabs but I see why they keep fags and women and such short leashes. Maybe we need to install Sharia Law until we know what the hell is going on with women.

Holy fuck black vote

30+.
IIRC, Trump taking 30% (closer to 35%) of the black vote would be landslide numbers, far beyond what the left can rig out of existence. And if he kept most of those 30% or made them generational MAGA voters, it would be a "get lindsy graham to call someone a nigger on live tv" level disaster for the uniparty.

hahah. So glad he's fighting back on this. Trying the Trump is weird angle is such a misfire.

i like how what she said was so retarded that it malfunctioned Fredo's brain so hard that all he can come up with to respond is "mine too" he's like a socially awkward guy saying "you too" when the waitress tells him to enjoy his meal. lol

He's a subscriber to NRx (neoreactionary political theory). I'm not really sure what that is all about. But I have this saved video. I think someone suggested it in this thread waaaayyyy back.

His sponsor is Peter Thiel. Part of the Paypal Mafia. Along with Elon Musk. They seem to like shaking up the world order and overturning the apple cart. Of course the geriatrics in power right now don't want that to happen. So it would make sense they want to get rid of Vance.

Taiwan has more crime than Japan (mainly related to human trafficking), yes it’s true, but literally what you described about Japan is what I personally experienced in Taiwan, and also personally experienced in places like rural Idaho and European villages where the immigrant population is zero.

MacArthur did a lot of great things for Japan but he did not single handedly change the entire culture. That’s retarded. You sound like someone who’s never gone out of the city and is a massive weeb. I used to be a Japanophile until I started to travel more frequently and realized the good qualities of Japan are actually all over the world.

Japan is not going to fuck you bro.
okay, so you're just saying factually wrong things for bait. alright.
It doesn't have to be either of them either. Mexico (of course I mean the real government of Mexico, the Cartels) could do the job. Perfect position to stab the US's underbelly, have a large Latino population that are hardened by being poor if not outright battle-hardened, and are sick of having to deal with US hegemony over Latin America. Ocean-sized moats don't mean shit when the Southern Border is wide open.
They could do serious damage and claw back land, especially if they waited until near the end - Canada could do it, too. I just used Russia and China because they 100% absolutely would. I believe Putin has literally said as much. (something to the effect of 'I will come and liberate USA if it falls to a dictator')

This is an impossible wet dream. Florida is not going solid blue, nor is Idaho. Might as well invert the colors and it's just as likely.

Also: no, the cheating absolutely is what got him out. People feeling fatigue and covid is what created the plausible deniability to make people justify how it totally wasn't cheating.. There have been images shared of allegedly what the country looked like before the dominion voting machines did their vote swaps and it was majority red, but even if we ignore those unsourced 'leaked' images, if we just look at what the country looked like before the cheating started, Trump would have won handily, He had Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, and MIGHT have been able to maintain his lead in Virginia. People hyper focused on Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona because even though at least 7 different states had obvious and observable fraud, Trump was so far in the lead that he only needed 2 or 3 of them to be corrected and he would have won. And that's after the traditional ballot stuffing cheating that always happens (like why Washington is always a waste of a vote)

Forget niggers.

Look at Hispanic numbers.

It's unprecedented.

I don't think that Trump particularly gives a shit about white men either outside of getting their votes, but at least he doesn't hold an obvious sort of contempt for you (I don't think he has any, but again, I just don't think he cares that much really despite the histrionic fears of many on the Left and the laments of some on the Right.)
He mainly holds contempt for men who hold themselves in contempt.

Harris isn't getting the white male vote, period.

The open question is how much of the white female vote Trump can pull this time. Everyone hated Hilary 8 years ago, but now abortion is back as a major talking point, Republicans already do poorly with single white women and college educated women, i.e. the liberal stronghold demographics. And now we're into the age where most college graduates are women, meaning more of the population went through the brainwashing.

Skimming the polls and crosstabs over the last few pages shows Trump is as weak or weaker in that area. I don't know how much he can make inroads. The only demographic-based campaigning he's doing at the moment is performative minority inclusion (the RNC), and talking up labor (implicitly middle aged white men).

Meanwhile, in politics and tech...

The grandfather of open source just posted a screed that will get him canceled, absolutely, 100%, banned from every tech convention for life, fake metoo allegations and the rest if they can find anything to create them out of.

ESR infamously warned around the start of GamerGate that Linus Torvalds has to go around tech expos and conventions with a security detail because the Ava Initiative, a woke feminist tech infiltration and subversion cabal (they have since disbanded and reformed as 4-5 other similar cabals with different names, same MO though), was trying to get women in his presence without witnesses so they could claim rape and take over control of the kernel.

Fuck I starting to like this Vance guy.

Speaking of Vance, Democrats are trying really, really hard to get him off the ballot.

Why is that? What are they afraid of?
On what grounds? They probably shouldn't be talking about taking anybody off the ballot when their own presumed candidate hasn't even been formally announced yet and the deadline for her to be on the ballot at all is long past.

Side note, did Biden even get on the ballot in Ohio?
