"Current year" terms that piss you off

"body positivity" and "healthy at any size"

Combined with the term "fat shaming", these seem to mean that in Clown World, hideously fat is "beautiful", and it is "sexist" or "misogynist" or "the male gaze" for a male to have preference "fetish" for any other look. A preference of healthy weight is rooted in instinct, and is not "problematic" to have, nor was it just arbitrarily made up.

Has probably been said but, Neurodivergent and Neurotypical, I fucking hate these two terms and how they are used, especially neurotypical as it's a label for well adjusted normal sane individuals. The two terms are almost always used hand in hand with labeling ones self as "neurodivergent" and labels anyone against them or not as mentally handicapped as them as "neurotypical" It reminds me of spoonies and how they aren't focused on getting better or trying their best to be a functional member of society, just finding excuses like "i'm out of spoons" "thats neurotypical behaviour, I can't do that".
As someone who genuinely had a good chunk of my life ruined by mental illness, it's infuriating, and seeing so called professionals using these terms are ridiculos to me. I don't agree with the the status quo in psych, but these terms are just self diagnosis buzzwords, that mean literally nothing. Szasz was right

I really hate how the internet has cheapened wit.
Before the 'net, TV could influence humor. Corporate marketing could decide what's funny or hip even more so than in Current Year. Of course that was not always the case then, as TV usually could not be watched on the go, unlike "Zoomers" on "smartphones" and "social media" now. Back then, people interacted with others in person more, if they wanted to go outside and "touch grass" as "Zoomers" say.

The word 'resonate'.

The first time I heard it was from my therapist lmao, telling me that if what she says resonates with me then keep it but if not, then throw it out. Since then, Ive noticed a strange uptick in this therapy talk especially using the word 'resonate'.

"The idea that plants in the home can calm your spirit really resonates with me"

"Oh wow that resonates with me so well"

"Does this resonate with you?"

Resonate with my foot in your ass, please

Full stop. Sounds like Redditor speak, and I hate all things Reddit.
I feel like 'End of' is the same. Oh, alright then, your word is law or fact, because you state that is. And Reddit can be okay, it's just the wanky Automoderators, or standard Moderators that like to occasionally swoop in and ruin it.

Any time something is marked "LGBT(QIA+...) friendly". More often than not it means it's a space where alphabet people are front and centre, especially online - in MMOs for instance, any guild labelled that way is almost certainly going to be an echo chamber for troons, enbies and their enablers. It's not even as if not labelling your business/space/friendship group that way, online or offline, implies "straights only, no fags or dykes allowed!", it's simply being ideologically neutral, and nowadays it's mostly the T and everything tacked on after that people take issue with.

I'm not here to compare pronouns or listen to you talk about how you're a transmasc demiace wolfkin and sometimes a faeflux dolphin-kin but only on Thursdays, I just came to play some damn video games, buy some shit, or whatever the space claiming to be alphabet friendly is actually for. Obviously it's different if it's a gay bar or whatever, but I'm talking about situations where who you sleep with or how you choose to label yourself otherwise doesn't matter. It's nothing but a big virtue signal, if not shorthand for "if you disagree with my opinions (which have little basis in material reality), get lost".

The LGBT movement is ironically misinformed: Troons militantly despise gays. Yeah, that includes lesbians, ESPECIALLY lesbians. There are gay people I know who can't stand the LGBT shite, because benders and dikes are grouped together with the troons.

@Flaming Insignias These are about the only goons I tolerate:
