Before Orylan.
Orylan (OR - EYE - LIN) Smith was born Kierstyn Orion Milligan in Victoria, Texas on April 23, 1999. A lot of her early information comes from Orylan herself so I will only go by what she says about her past, take that as you will. Her parents were according to her alcoholics, and most likely abusers of hard drugs. They divorced around when she was 1 year old, and she lived with her mother. She would go on to state many times during her adult years that her family loved her and never abandoned her. However, her mother went on to have 2 more children with 2 other men while also being a single mother taking care of Orylan.

Her father, according to her, was a heavy alcoholic who gained multiple DUIs and was a failed businessman. He was struggling financially, but according to her "they weren't poor."

Her father remained absent throughout her early life, but would come back when she was an adult. As she was growing, up, she started to become promiscuous by age 11, but insists that she was never molested or sexually abused. Orylan has stated that her mother "knew she chose those decisions," and decided to turn a blind eye to them. One can only assume that her mother is her enabler because as we progress through the OP, her mother would keep having appearances as Orylan would go further in her downward spiral. By the time she was 14 years old, she was already interested in tattooing, so she got the Lord's Prayer tattooed on her back around that age.
Orylan has said she is a devout Christian, but as we can see, she struggles to keep the principles of religion in her life. When she was 16, she smoked synthetic marijuana, also known as "spice," and had a seizure. With this being known, it remains unknown if the seizure had long-lasting effects, but as we dive into her content creation, her actions seem like the mentality of a teenager. Around the time she turned 16 years old, she was hospitalized, according to her, and was given a psychiatric evaluation that diagnosed her with Bipolar Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD. She would go onto say that she was given medication, but stopped because "it made her body hot." Also when she was 16, she claimed that she became a prostitute and "faked her ID" to prove she was legal age to some of her clients. She would break away from this though, but because she got into a relationship with a 28-year-old as a minor. The person knew she was underage, but would go onto even meet her mother, and she didn't oblige to her daughter being groomed. Naturally, the relationship didn't work out because he cheated on her with numerous other women, as people like that do. When she was 17, she would graduate high school but didn't intend to go to college until her father made her.
Around the time she was 18, her father came back into her life, as he became more financially successful. She moved in with her father while her mother looked after the other 2 children after she graduated. When she went to go to college, she enrolled to be a registered nurse. Orylan claims that during the first week, she was asked, "What do you want to do for your future?" This question shook her to the point that she dropped out after the first week because she realized she "didn't want to be running in the hamster wheel for the rest of her life." As her father told her she needs to find employment or be left on the street, she became a nanny for two families while getting paid under 1,000 each week. During that time, she got into a relationship with a 26-year-old. According to her, the relationship was physically, psychologically, and sexually abusive. He secretly had a wife and kids throughout their relationship and would control her appearance, by having her only sport short blonde hair and no tattoos.

Her father, already frustrated that she dropped out of college, told her how little she'll achieve in life, how much she made the biggest mistake of her entire life, all the while she was dealing with her boyfriend at the time. She claims that because she was in love with him, she fell pregnant with his child, but had to terminate the pregnancy. It's unknown who forced her, either the person she was with or her father. However, when she told him that the infant was aborted, he just whined that she aborted the child they made together, so she became mentally shattered since then. Her father demanded she break up with him, and her not knowing what to do, was already reaching her breaking point. After an argument that led to her phone getting smashed, finally decided to leave him, but around that time she turned 21. On her 21st birthday, she visited a strip club with some friends, and that was when she decided to dedicate her life to being a stripper.

It was through this video, that it was peeling back the layers on what makes her mindset even saying that she disassociates and doesn't feel fulfilled in life while saying that she has everything that she has asked for, while wanting to improve in life. It concludes with her saying that she might have "Imposter Syndrome," which is a mindset where you feel like you don't deserve happiness or success,. She continually doesn't understand why people judge her for the way she looks. Both of these things are what will also continue to struggle with for the rest of her life, even if she promises that she will seek help. After that, she one day was watching an interview from the YouTube channel "Soft White Underbelly." This YouTube channel is known for doing interviews with people who have suffered traumatic circumstances or people who have lived in certain eras of a dangerous places, or cities, to get their perspective on what they experienced.

According to her, when she watched them interview strippers, they didn't show the "true reality" because they were "boring." She sent them an email, telling them about her life story and how she doesn't feel rightly judged in the world, so they replied to her saying that she would be sent on a plane ride to the studio to have her own spotlight interview.

Just going to let you know, that normally after an interview, there would be notes and timestamps, but this interview, and a few others, helped significantly with the early life section of the OP, so I will only speak on how it deals with her at the time.

- Butterflies are known for their beauty, as they're bugs, they are revolting creatures, so she portrays herself as someone ugly on the outside but beautiful on the inside. Don't ask how that works.

- She would look at herself in the mirror and would see her ex and father judging her, saying how ugly she looks.
- She says that as a Christian, she doesn't judge others because she doesn't want to be judged herself, and hates people that do

Needless to say, this one of the first times she was being judged for her appearance because in the past she only received positive reception. When Ben and his fanbase criticized her for her appearance, she would start taunting the people around her saying that she doesn't care that she ruined her body, and everyone else around her has to live with it alongside her.
