What I mean is that you say something minor for small talk and then you have to give every last detail and it's very draining to do so. Sometimes less is more and sometimes words are a chore.

To answer his question portrayed in this video , 40K is a sincere setting- in that it is completely sincere in its satire of humanity. 40K is the logical conclusion of a number of ideological belief systems taken up to eleven and portrayed through dozens of different inspirations from other IPs. It's a well-connected pinboard with eye-wateringly gauche aesthetics, which is the reason I believe Malice/ Malal was the most intelligent thing to come out of 40K, and don't care to follow the current lore all that much.
