Derek Guy is an enormous faggot, I think literally, who bases most of his fashion takes on whether he agrees with people politically. That said, brown shoes, black socks, navy suit? Like a Jeet, he fucks up the basics. Is he wearing a black belt, because that would be hilariously bad. Also, I'd have gone with a darker brown, since navy is dark. The poor shoe fit is just the start.

The "X is weird" angle only works on young non-wyippo. I made the unfortunate move from an area that was > 80% white to one that was < 25%. They do not understand white culture or tradition. They find high-trust and general friendliness to be strange.

I find it odd that no one has taken the "lets get weird" angle yet. There is a sense that you do not want to play into your enemies stereotypes of you, but the phrase is already popular enough and has the "white-boy summer" vibe.

There are like three anti-Trump threads (TDS, TES, and his lolcow thread). I don’t understand why he’s a lolcow. He doesn’t meet the criteria for a lolcow, he’s a successful public figure.

The TDS thread is a little different. All the other threads, including this one, were born from it. The bulk of the TDS posters migrated to politics general in 2019(?) when it was created. The DJT and TES threads turned into containment threads for the people that couldn't play nice in politics general. It's always been a weird situation, like Null has said, because a few of the people that keep those threads alive are oldfags. I genuinely like some of them, even though they're kind of nuts. Jane and HHH come to mind. I suspect the demographics of the site shifting right caused them to hate a huge portion of the other users.

I don't have the same respect for oldfags that Null does. I was a quiet lurker in those days, and a lot of the prolific posters in that era were hardcore gay-opping shit touchers. It actually reminds me a lot of the zoomers following Daniel Larson and Anna Clossin. Maybe it's a coming of age thing, but watching guys like Thetan fuck with Chris behind the scenes stopped being funny for me really quick.

I also have a theory about a correlation between the political demographics of the site and the prevalence of poo-touching. When the site was arguably left leaning, there were secret cliques all over the place trying to gain troll clout by being the new Clyde Cash. Think of the Bossman, "I can gamble better than him" mentality, but replace Bossman with Blue Spike. People were actively competing to get a Christorical Figure tag. The more the site started shifting to the right, the more people starting thinking that gay ops were, in fact, gay. There's possibly some subconscious animosity about the MAGAtards coming in and ruining their troll group.
