It is both impressive and depressing that the Dems haven't learned anything from 2016. It's the same energy we saw in Hillary's campaign, the exuberance that Kamala is certain of victory and how hard the entire left-wing machine has assembled behind her in just a matter of hours. More self-congratulatory memes about how everyone in your Twitter circle supports Kamala, therefore she is going to win, period, and curb-stomp the Drumpf and the GOP into irrelevance forever. More pandering to terminally-online Millennials who were going to Vote Blue No Matter Who anyway. Because that certainly didn't backfire hilariously eight years ago.
Looks like a cover of those parody movies from the 2000's

Hard to say really. I'm not disagreeing with you but online I keep seeing Gen-Z panicking over shit like " Trump is going to take away LGBTQ rights and kill trans kids! We can't allow that fascist back in power!" which can cause more to go out and vote, but then again Gen-Z is also lazy so I could be wrong.
nah, i see far more gen-Z freaking out about Palestine then LGBTQ shit. Gen-Z only cares about the current "thing" and are only motivated to vote for you if you agree with them 100% on the current thing. the fact that the biden administration hasn't declared a holy jihad on Israel is gonna result in a very low turnout for them.

They have learned a bit. Just really bad lessons.

Like calling Trump weird is a sorta neutral way of trying to dismiss him, without insulting his supporters or Trump too much. Which would hurt them more than it'd hurt Trump since there was the assassination attempt. It's a much gentler approach.

They were even able to get Biden to drop out and start trying to reshape Kamala's image after treating her as the scapegoat for all of the Biden White House's fuck ups.

Where they fuck up is they still don't know how to put together memes or understand how divisive some of these figures they keep bringing up like Schiff, Swalwell, Pelosi, AOC, and so on still are. I tried out watching a little of the "White Dudes for Harris" stream that happened today (a replay so I could skip through sections).

Can't embed for some reason.

Most of it is a Who's Who of the most divisive figures around and repeating debunked talking points. Which has typically been the norm for these Dems. Their biggest problem is dismissing every one of the oppositions' issues as irrelevant or fictional. Still it's slightly better than outright calling everyone they disagree with evil incarnate.

I suppose a major problem for Dems is they can't be polite or listen to moderates at all about why they like Trump without outraging their core base.

this can use a highlight.

the strategy decided on (and already noticed in here) and pushed out to all the Slack channels is to call trump "weird", that should have been clear about 3-4 days ago, but the memo is now out for wide broadcast.

essentially they fully understand the doompilling of Democrats to raise their own base turnout has backfired and led to the huge amount of Indep registrations in every state, so the idea now is to sound like a DailyKos/NYT comment section to sound a bit more apolitical and centrist, and not a retarded zealot like normal.

on the base value, yes this strategy works in the current environment, because everyone is sick of the doomermill. will that be enough to save Kamala? I'm not so sure.

there is also something really bizarre about DNC and Kamala campaigners holding race/sex based telecalls.

I have way more in common socio-economic wise and general gripes with my black neighbors than I do with the rich whites in the condos downtown. my area votes purple... Dems locally most of the time, Rs for president nearly always. The Dems started losing locals here because of AFT and keeping the schools closed.

I don't see how this communication strategy that they are doing resonates off any of that

Honestly toning down the language should be a welcome change, as it gets tiring being called satanic by people who worship satanic values. Might be a little bit of whiplash, however, as families have literally been destroyed over this.

White supremacist groups should surface level rebrand as White Dudes for Harris meetups and start marching through the south.

WhiteDudesForHarris.com is already taken but someone could buy something like WhiteDudesForKamalaHarris.com and redirect it to Stormfront.
Redirect it to the Dylan Mulvaney thread
