Short screen recording looped once of Dalton talking to Zaidean where you get a good full body pan down, along with a couple of open-eyed pictures.

Paging Cuzin Ray-Ray for that DNA test.

Okay, so we can see his left ear in this one and it looks like (unless they've flipped the damn camera for no reason) he's got bilateral microtia and also it appears that his arms and legs on his left side look swollen when compared to his right...

Does he have a feeding tube? Cleft palate is strongly associated with microtia, although I don't know about PAP use with cleft palate.

(But also FOR FUCK'S SAKE STOP HAVING FUCKED UP DOOMED BABIES, KIM, YOU FUCKING MONSTER.)

SkySeaLand looks so much like Ray-ray!
I don't want to comment on how spuddified baby Z is, but I will say this: one of our preemies was in NICU at a time when hubby was working stupid long hours in construction. He would come visit baby on the way home from work at 2 or 3am, the NICU nurses had no trouble finding him scrubs and a shower so he could spend the next few hours cuddling baby before going home. The fact that Dalton is dirty without even a gown probably has more to do with Dim's behaviour than anything else.

Does being held in a C-position by dirty Dalton count as flat, or is that also part of the UAMS policy allowing moms to jeopardize the baby’s life as they see fit?
That is up to the doctor, and how stable baby is, and if there are access issues (does baby have more than one access point? Etc)

UACs should not be held, though.

Also, that kid is most likely going to be delayed and should also be checked for cp as he gets older. He may also have vision problems, but that’s checked after a few weeks by an eye doctor.

I think some of you people forget that this kid has been floating in fluids for the last 8 months, so he is going to look a bit swollen once he has come out and when he was inside of Kim, he was probably folded like a damn towel or something hence the flexibility.

As for other things? He may be on a drip due to low sugars, same with the feeding tube. As Kim had GD they'll be monitoring his glucose levels closely and giving him sugary stuff if it drops at all, so they'd be pricking his poor little heels every 3 hours and the cannula in his arm could be to help keep him hydrated as well as instantaneously administer any necessary medicine he may need.

I'm just laughing at how they cut her, couldn't cut over the old wound so they made a new one and we all know that's going to start rotting in 6 weeks time.

How can Kim pretend to care when she didn't even try to stop the baby from coming early?
Kim was already hospitalized for preeclampsia a month or so ago; she was discharged home (which was surprising to me, honestly) but should have been on bed rest, not vaping and going to birthday parties. Then she developed the serious bacterial infection and now has a unhealthy baby that will be in the NICU for weeks.

I’m still not sure what the hospital was thinking: Kim is obviously poor, but Medicaid, fortunately or unfortunately, covers a lot of this care. But Kim is also obviously noncompliant with treatment, and preeclampsia is a dangerous condition for both mother and baby. I’m not sure how much of Zaidean’s condition was preventable, but I still feel like this is a situation where the hospital and/or a social worker should have stepped in. Lack of resources, maybe?

Ok I kept my word. I went to the buffet in honor of 1000 pages. I made the best sarge plate I could but I know it's not enough carbs so I apologize.

A roll, pasta, pizza, pulled pork and some bratwurst.
Looks about right, happy 1000th!
Well now we know where the Bushart girls get their need to have a man from. Ma Bushart obv thinks a woman’s value comes from having a man and she don’t even have that, just her kids 🙄
Ma shart reminds me a lot of Sammie. On her old Facebook she'd bitch constantly about pa shart cheating.

Dalton posted some photos, he has both ears surprisingly they just seem so low?

If that kid doesn't have downs or turner syndrome or something similar I'll be very surprised.
It's a very typically downsie looking baby. Specifcally the eyes, but very low set ears can also be a sign of downs. His fucked up feet and broad hands also seem to be pretty typical of downs from the stuff I've looked at.

Aidens brain tumour is going to disappear if she has a more disabled child to milk.

Uhhh…boys can’t have TS. Only girls can. But low set ears are absolutely part of many, many syndromes. And it’s very likely to be the case. But the only way to know is to follow how he grows. Dysmorphic faces will be very obvious as the child grows, and there will be other signs as well. Short
Stature, widely spaced nipples for example. Or intellectual disability and such would be a good indicator.

He should have a karyotype done for sure. DS is screened for during pregnancy. He might end up having Noonan Syndrome (resembles Turners syndrome but happens in both genders)

Looks like he has a short neck.
