I don't understand why any judge would allow any law like this. The reason why there is a cut off and that the cut off happens before the counting does is specifically to avoid fraud. When you allow up to a week of new ballots to be submitted after election day, the only thing you will get is fraud, as people try to flip the election results after the fact.

I don't understand why any judge would allow any law like this. The reason why there is a cut off and that the cut off happens before the counting does is specifically to avoid fraud. When you allow up to a week of new ballots to be submitted after election day, the only thing you will get is fraud, as people try to flip the election results after the fact.

Anyway, they've hyped and astroturfed Kamala hard for a solid week now, and she's still losing to Trump in basically every real poll (I saw a new one yesterday that, shit you not, had it's sample labeled as "Adults", not even registered voters, just people over 18; anything to try and give her a boost) and she's struggling to fill a retirement home rally. Even that Fox News poll they keep bragging about predicts Trump to win at least two Rust Belt states, which puts him over 270EVs, and it still only has Harris doing about a point better than Biden, yet again.

If she can't break above that "slightly better than Biden, but still losing" trend in actual polls, we'll probably start seeing serious calls to replace her with Beshear or Newsom, whichever the DNC is willing to sacrifice to try and save some downticket races.

2016 wasn't a fluke per se, it was outdated cheating methods. Before 2020 it was actually quite hard to steal an election. The whole concept of 'swing states' are why it was nearly impossible to steal. They had to predict ahead of time which states would go for a certain candidate and then stuff the ballot box with dead people, illegal immigrants, and fake ballots before the counting began. They couldn't go too crazy with the fake ballots or they'd get rejected, but the real problem was that they had finite resources. If they stuffed a ballot box for a state that already was going for their candidate they just wasted their time because the popular vote means nothing (this is why the Dems basically ALWAYS won the popular vote), If they didn't stuff the box of a certain state and it flipped, they lose. The swing states were the most heavily trafficked, but sometimes random states like Florida would suddenly flip (W won because Florida was 'safe Democrat' and suddenly went red). Trump beat Hillary because they thought Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were easy blue and stuffed other ballot boxes. That's why the whole 'win beyond the margin of cheating' thing existed.

But with these new 2020+ cheats it's just impossible to win. They'll keep dumping new ballots for as long as a week if necessary to get their candidate over the finish line, and they'll continue to pretend it's in any way normal for elections to go past one day.

The states have to follow the postmarked date on the ballots. they have to be postmarked before or on election day for them to be valid. They are just allotted a few extra days to get through the mail system.
