The women I ran with 15 years ago, everyone kept their kid off of social media except for locked-down close friends and family Facebook posts. If you took a pic of someone else's kid and posted it on social media, that mother would have slit your throat.
hopefully you're consistent and think videos and images of children shouldn't be on the internet at all, on social media or otherwise.
Yep. Have gotten into some ugly family conflicts with people wanting to share "a cute snap with my niece/nephew" on Facebook. Even back then (2010s), I was more concerned with future image manipulation than pedos. It just seemed like a stupid risk to take for very little reward.
(A bit more context: I am so laid-back in 99% of parenting stuff as to be considered negligent by your average pearl-clutcher.)
