Mega Rad Gun Thread

By happenstance of geography and as a result of changing jerbs a couple times during the coof, I rent a place in a secure building not far from a large university, so many of my neighbors are female grad students. Im not sure if I should laugh or cry when I order a case of 556 and UPS/FedEx leaves it in the foyer and the merchant just plasters what the contents are, all over the box for all the post grad degree seeking SSRI test subjects to see.
I hope there aren’t red flag laws in your jurisdiction.

Why'd they make it look so retarded? Do they sell it in a Russian-military-clone configuration?
You can buy their kit for three types of 9mm AK pattern guns and they have two or three different SKUs. There is a default one that's all black that tries to go for the real look, but it's not 1-to-1 as it's all modern additive manufacturing. And that cartel/blinged out one is for some giveaway at a convention.

I turned my ZPAP M70 into an SBR (Spooky Black Rifle). I still have the all wood original furniture but I dont like the Yugo style wood handguard. It lacks shaping.
So I replaced the wood stock with Zastava's Gen 2 Triangle Folding stock, and replaced the pistolgrip and handguard with Hogue's version. The handguard is perfect, and has the ability to add rails (included with it) for attachments. The pistol grip is good, but I may still end up swapping it for a BG Battlegrip later. I also have a sight rail that attaches to the scope mount on the left side of the receiver if I really want to go full tacticool with it. The bottom picture features a Schmeisser 60rd mag.

The image system didn't like the full size original picture. It would upload but the option to Insert->Tumbnail didnt show up. I resized so I could put it in the post but I also included the full size original as an attachment designated "fullsize"
EDIT: This video is the best endorsement of the Schmeisser 60 Rd AK magazine I've seen. They make an AR version too.

Recall the meme of one dude with three mags on the gun duct taped in Yugoslavia for his AK lmao.

Sorry, in my brain I keep thinking CZ-USA got taken over by colt for some reason.

Does anyone have any experience on a G3/PTR and an FAL? I got offered to buy one of my friends FAL/G3 or an AR-10 roughly the same price (10 is a little cheaper). I gotta finish checking the FAL since I'm pretty sure it's the SLR inch pattern.
Nigger the question stops at FAL. What you meant to ask was 'Where can I find parts and accessories for a FAL and also some short shorts in Rhodesian stripe?'

Depends on what you want the rifle for. If you want something practical like for hunting and long range shooting, get the AR10. If you want a cool range toy get the PTR. I say this as someone with both a FAL and PTR. The ptr is just way less finicky and more pleasant overall to shoot.

The Hazmat Limited Quantity symbol on all ammo packages is also used on packages containing aerosol cans, nail polish remover, perfume, and many other things that normie women buy.

Most firearms industry companies don't use their real name on their shipping label, so all that your female grad student neighbors will think is that a woman who buys beauty products lives in your place.

Once I ordered a case of .380 from a discount dropshipper when I lived in a similar situation and the tards just shipped me the box by itself with a shipping label slapped on it without putting it in another box, with the full “FIOCCHI .380 AUTO 95 GRAIN 1000 ROUNDS” printed on it. My landlady chimped out at me and I had to explain to her that not only was it legal but I’d been ordering ammo for a year without her noticing. It was a miracle that package wasn’t stolen at some point.

>tfw no 5.45 version.
sucks the 74 never caught on anywhere. i understand why, but man does have such limited options on parts, mags, and ammo suck.

I saw a guy kill massive spiders with .22 snake shot. I want to do that. Total Spider Death. I know .22LR can be fired from 5.56, so snake shot would be fine too right?
Just don't have a suppressor on the thing and you'll be fine, since those plastic hulls are just begging to damage a can.

I used to have some of the CCI ones, but I don't remember if they cycled my 702 at the time. They're expensive though, why not just have one of those salt guns?

Federal makes full brass case .22 rat shot; works like a champ from my pump gun, even mixed with .22 Short CBs in the tube.

Or your GF will ask you if you got her hairspray or perfume lmao.

Are 3d printed guns a meme? They seem pretty straight forward, does it just take a shitload of time to make? I'm reading up on it and its legal which is fucking hilarious but the consensus is that they only last for a couple magazines worth. Is the accuracy and such still good on them?
The 3d gun printing community is full of some of the most autistic individuals on the Internet. 3d printing a Glock or AR-15 lower is fairly straight forward and has lots of quality documentation online. The firearms, assuming you print and assemble them correctly, last for hundreds of rounds and there are some that can make it into the low thousands from what I've read. The lower/frame for a Glock or AR15 is printed like any other 3d printed item and takes hours iirc. But that is wait time, not actively you doing any work. And assembling a Glock or AR15 is easy and quick, if you aren't brain damaged.

Are they a meme? Yes and no. No, in that the popular ones tend to work fairly well. Yes, in that the only people who "need" them are guerrilla/insurgent forces and people who can't pass a background check. FOSS communities are often some flavor of leftist, which means they have all the drama associated with leftist communities. Think of programmer socks and not doing any work while talking a whole lot of shit. It's a situation of on one hand, glad they exist to increase the protection of gun rights by circumventing (potential) legislation, on the other they don't have much practical utility for the average gun owner (in the United States). It can be a fun novelty or hobby though. The barrier to entry in terms of cost is fairly low. You could throw together a 3d printed AR or Glock for sub $1,000 including printer, tools etc.

On accuracy, you're (almost always) not 3d printing a barrel. You may machine your own barrel, either through ECM or turning it on a lathe from a blank, and that will change the overall firearms accuracy, but most people are using parts kits which have a normal firearm barrel. That means it will have a normal accuracy for w/e you're creating. This is a general rule as there are some designs for some firearms that are more dependent on structural support of 3d printed components with how they interface with the barrel, which may mess with the mechanical accuracy of a firearm (Amigo Grande comes to mind) but even those have acceptable accuracy.
