I'm going to be real. I'm not afraid of Kamala (because, let's be real, she's pretty damn stupid). I'm more afraid that 1) the democrats will cheat again before the election and 2) that people will hand this country over to socialism/communism just because they hate orange man.

I'm not particularly worried. None of the positive feedback about her seems organic in the slightest. People were really pissed and scared about Joe coming off as senile during the debate, but once he actually dropped out, all the air got sucked out of the room and now it all seems really quiet and blank. Think that also makes Trump's move of waiting on the debate make more sense, see how things shake out over the next month.

People were way more vitriolic about Trump back when he was in office in 2020 due to COVID, Floyd and whatnot, that race would've been much closer regardless of fraud. By all means, don't get complacent, but I highly doubt anyone in Harris's position is going to mount a successful presidential campaign four months out from said election.

This is about getting Joe's old ass off TV as much as possible to salvage the ticket down-ballot, and draw focus away from the assassination attempt because that was the definitive "We're fucked." moment for the Dems.

From her campaign speech today, Kamala's platform is rent control, price controls, nationalized healthcare, "free" child care, mandatory union membership, student loan forgiveness, severe firearm restrictions and mandatory buyback programs, automatic and same-day voter registration with no identification required, and nation wide legalization of no questions asked late term abortion.
Aside from perhaps abortion, these are all socialist policies that, if implemented, will require a Venezuela style revolution to overcome after they've destroyed the country and economy.

Vance doesn't bring in any new voters, Trump was winning Ohio anyways. Apparently behind the scenes Trump is starting to ponder if he picked too early.

It's not that he has squandered it, it's just how controlled and limited his ability is to get momentum. In 2016 he was able to get it because the establishment Media/ Big Tech didn't think he could win. They closed in. In the 2020 election they were fortifying. Things have only gotten worse since because Biden was so bad they had to become even faker and gay.

Now this election, the assassination attempt could break through but they quickly closed ranks as a result. Now everything is astroturfing for Kamala and while no body really likes Biden, they'll be sold on the pretence that Kamala is some great new hope. She'll win, no body will enjoy her Presidency. Nobody voting for her will actually know what they are buy. It'll just be more fake "hope" like Obama but she'll be much worse because she's nothing.

You would have thought they learned their lesson last time not to hype up their candidate before a potential debate. We've already seen what Kamala's going to deploy on the debate stage from her stump speeches, but a debate isn't a monologue, and as a former prosecutor she crashed and burned in the 2020 primaries.

Dems never learn. I look forward to the debate, because as you said, Kamala is horrendous at debate. Embarrassingly so for someone coming from not only a legal background, but a trial attorney of all things.
