Trump is playing his cards right by waiting. If he attacks her effectively too soon, just watch-- the DNC will just switch to somebody else in an open convention.

Let Kamala have the momentum for now so the DNC doesn't change their minds again before the convention. Based on all that we have heard, she is the candidate that the Trump campaign wants to run against (for good reason, too-- she's horrible, stupid, and with an abysmal record that's tied to the current administration).

On the subject of the Kamala ad, nobody is going to believe that with the rare exception of Blue Dogs, a dying breed, who might show up if some of their fears are addressed instead of sitting out entirely, but most of those are oldsters who'll show up just to vote for local candidates and can't leave their team's presidential spot blank. Not many were watching Kamala's rally today either. Tons are tuned on Trump ones. And showing up, with thousands outside. Kamala can barely fill a gym.

If he debates Kamala, and she remains the candidate, he knows he can keep up with her.
