Are you talking about the chick from Crawling Dreams? If so that series might be even less original than you realize. It's basically a remake of a comic he made with another artist, Parororo:

The story is mostly the same but the characters have changed. From what I've heard they stopped working together because people were associating Parororo's OC, Aria, with Merryweather rather than the original creator, though this only sounds like a partial explanation to me. Of course, Merryweather wrote the original story so calling Crawling Dreams a knock off is a bit unfair.

Also, more relevant to this thread, Parororo has since gone on to make some nice vtuber fan art:

Drama appears to be going on with a modeler on twitter right now.
I see people RTIng shit left and right related to KevinX Live2D - fairly "popular" VTuber Rigger Modeler.
Anyone able to fill me in on what this is about? Looks like it has to do with a template he uses to models etc...

Fatties were seething when he posted an image of a WIP 'chubby' live2D model of the Demon Slayer girl character... because it wasn't fat enough. From there it seems that things snowballed.

It started with people getting angry at his definition of "chubby-fit", which led into a full on cancel session where they grilled him for shit like using base templates for his rigs, accidentally leaking other clients' PSDs, and that Ui-inspired rape whistle asset.

Its a good thing holo always releases instrumentals for their songs, id reccomend a listen for marine's new song. It sounds very similar to undertale's final boss theme. Same instrumemts, similar progression. Also it has toby's quirk of referencing other songs by using their main melodies and Im wondering if he referenced MariBako first then the animation became about that since its already part of his music style to do that.

From what I've heard in rrats it sounds like the opposite, if you can believe it, Jews ran out of cash and Brave called in their debts and the only way Aviel could really do so was sign off on selling Idol. But I know it'd been speculated since Brave and Idol announced their partnership last year that their days were numbered. It'll be interesting to see who stays or goes, I could Rin being one that stays on board.
