Trump didn't do bad at this even at all, and they deliberately made him wait 30 more minutes to try and rile him up. And nothing they did will really stick or work. Trump should have said (maybe he did) that you're doing this to help the Harris campaign, everyone can see it.
That blue dress black lady is so biased I can hear it when I see her on ABC in the morning, everything a dem does is true and everything a republican does is "allegedly" or "supposedly."
What the media doesn't realize is when someone claps back to a black woman who is clearly being a bitch, that person gets immediate respect. This helped push more black men to Trump than anything.

I'm getting really sick of the glorified sand pit that is the Middle East. All these Semitic groups claiming each other's clay like it's any different from their clay. We have oil here. We were a net energy exporter under Trump, when none of this bullshit was going on. At most we're enriching China and Russia who buy our equipment from these groups when we flee for bullshit political reasons. So the whole "strategic depth" and the rest of those buzzwords are moot. We go there for bullshit reasons, we leave for bullshit reasons. Waste of time, waste of resources, waste of human lives. It's all a waste.
Just put a big Iron Dome over the whole region and let them kill each other.

It's not about the US being energy independent, it's about controlling enough valuable resources worldwide that other countries hold on to US dollars and such for trade. It's the entire reason the US is able to run at $30 trillion dollar debt and keep printing money without hyperinflation. You HAVE to hold on to reserves of US Dollars in order to trade worldwide. Especially for Oil.
Of course that printed money isn't really used in the US, it's for kickbacks, bribes, coups, mercs, and military companies to keep control of the resources in other countries.

I wonder what the questions for Harris are gonna be? I'm betting on kid's gloves, but I don't think it's going to look great when she shows up via Zoom to be handed a bunch of softballs next to Trump fielding pointed questions from a hostile interviewer.
Yeah, that won't change the mind of any Democrats, but for the undecided voter, this is going to be the most direct comparison between the two so far.

Black Lives Matter (at this moment) doesn't have her back, and you'd think they'd immediately raise up arms for someone who is supposed to be. Well. They aren't. Because she isn't. She definitely isn't African American, no matter how much they want to lump in all people of the same skin color together as a mindless unit to sell to the public.
And yeah, they were laughing. Specifically at him pointing out Kamala wasn't black until she needed to be. Before that it was being Indian that was the narrative push. I think this puts more shit on the plates of his critics who have to dispel everything he says, while bringing to attention an actual elephant in the room. So now they have to spin false narratives about an extra talking point, said in front of a hugely black audience who seemed receptive of him and his charisma.
As well as his absolutely not putting up with blue woman's pointed, biased, aggressive, and stupid nonsense. That'll probably get him some points.

I was thinking more about deals with OPEC. How our politicians want us to rely on them to "produce oil" so they can run green energy and other grifts back home. You do have a point about leveraging global resources for finance and trade. It's just that if we had a real economy, and not one based on backroom deals, there'd be even fewer reasons to go over there. It doesn't help that the same money is being funneled into the system to perpetuate it. Thats why the US made the deal with the Saudis, you sell your Oil only in US Dollars, and we supply you with military equipment to protect our deal. And its pretty much the same everywhere else, and if you don't agree to the deal. We'll coup you or bomb you until you do agree to the deal.

I think they're trying to pitch Kamala as a challenger and divorce her from Joe's parade of failures. Hence the whole "border czar, no-one every said that" and similar stuff. Even the "they're weird" sounds like something you would expect from someone talking about a sitting president. To a degree it makes sense because people know Trump and what he's about and the tendency of the admin to drop Kamala on something then stop talking about her involvement when it continues to go to shit does help with that.
But only in friendly territory. In a neutral setting or even an unfriendly one she can be quizzed about every single failure of the current administration and she has three choices. Say she opposed every decision and stab every single part of the Democrat apparatus in the back which will never happen because they will have receipts and be publishing them within minutes. Try to play it off and feign some false regret which means she is associated with them. Or admit that she did nothing of note and largely rubber stamped stuff, proving she is the DEI hire they have called her and failed to even understand how badly she was doing.
None of which will change things for Vote Blue No Matter Who. But since she will be picking option three nine times out of ten it will quickly become clear that she is not going to be running the country, she'll just be president. Which tends to make a lot of voters stay home.
