I always thought her liver would be the first major organ to pack up, since she'd had official non-alcoholic fatty liver disease for many years. But she's not ALR-yellow, and has all that edema, so it looks like her kidneys are probably going to go first?
Either way, I'm hanging on for Diaylsis Beeze. Isn't that's three hours in a chair, two or three times a week? No way she can stay offline that long.

My personal theory over the last year+ is that she has congestive heart failure along with everything else. That falls in line with her one sided swelling.
Couple of family members on full dialysis; three times a week. Their lives revolve around their dialysis schedule and the necessary restrictions to lifestyle. 3-4 hours in the chair, not to mention some potential wait time before and a short period of monitoring after the session is over to make sure there are no problems.
I can’t see her beginning to cope with a dialysis regime, even though she will be firmly told that even assiduous compliance with dialysis limitations doesn’t necessarily guarantee many added years of a decent quality life.
ETA: THAT is her swimming outfit? How much grease does she need to get that on?

Burkinis are made out of the usual swimsuit material, just with long sleeves and long leggings. ( And none of the Temu "Islamic Modest Swimsuits" AKA burkinis go over US size 22. Check the website) She's way too fat for any burkini and she just found out the hard way.

I found the striped dress on Temu. Goes up to size 7x which tracks. Whoever said she was 62” around was spot on.

not only that, but Phyllis is the only one who seems to really care about Chantal's wellbeing. At least she seems to not have given up on her yet. Who knows? Perhaps seeing her nieces obvious issues is what interested her in addiction and mental health in the first place.
