I can't wait for her not to be a parody at all and instead just be a fanfiction of an ideal Kamala because SNL stopped even making the barest efforts in 2016, possibly even 2012. They poked fun at Obama for a bit, but no more.

It's going to be so cringe. I know someone who watches SNL and a while back I mentioned how cringe it was that the parodies of Democrats are a pretence of who they wish the politicians actually were. So people back the cool sharp Hillary or Biden. They literally were confused and told me SNL was not biased.

Frustratingly, I see some conservative talking heads online saying that Trump should drop the "Kamala Harris is Indian" thing because race doesn't matter and we should all just focus on the issues.

These conservatives must have a humiliation kink or something, because what has the left done to Trump for the past decade? They've attacked and lied about his character constantly, and most unfortunately, a lot of those lies have resonated with gullible and stupid people who also happen to vote.

I'm sorry, but all day long, "Kamala is Indian" has been trending on X/Twitter. Normies pay attention to this kind of stuff, whether we like it or not. I wish we could just talk about the issues and leave it there, but that's not how this works.

Also, it's not her race that matters ... It's the fact that she's lying about something so trivial is what matters. It's a question of her moral character (or obvious lack thereof). Way to miss the mark once again, "losers with dignity" conservatards.

Lying about your race is weird.

The annoying thing is that literally everyone knows she isn't black in the way they are pretending. Everyone knows she always presented herself as Indian. It's all a farce and just part of how everything is fake and retarded now. People willingly lie and embrace being lied to.

If it makes you feel better, this is the election that everyone will know for certain was rigged.

They like and need to be lied too.

I remember comedians in the 2010s saying some shit about why they didn't go after Obama like they did Bush that Obama was just too perfect to mock or satirise or some such
What really happened (and they won't admit) is that with W being the most hated president in recent history (his approval rating was 23% in R-slanted polls) and Obama being a smooth talking, attractive first black president who offered hope, Obama started his presidency like a Dem Reagan at 70% approval rating (again, R-leaning pollsters). Then Obama sucked so much that his approval rating immediately cratered. He provided no hope or change an in fact just led the country into a recession so deep it was almost a depression.

He barely survived re-election based on a combination of
1 - Gabby Giffords got shot and the media hyper-focused on how Obama supported her recovery
2 - Republicans wanted Ron Paul but he got cheated out of the nomination
3 - Mitt Romney got caught on camera calling his own voter base losers, and not in a Trump kind of way where they lied but in a 'hidden camera at a rich dinner' way.

This broke the media's brains. They had to go from subtle bias to outright fluffing Obama at every step (like lying repeatedly about how he had no scandals despite having covered those scandals themselves earlier in his presidency). Then, obviously, when Trump won they had a nervous breakdown. I think, personally, they got cocky with Clinton scraping by with the Lewinski scandal, and massively misjudged their influence over the American people.
