I fantasize about her on house arrest with me as a prison guard. Sometimes with Bill Clinton on comatose, I raid her kitchen full of various foodstuffs while I use her high speed Internet to watch a bountiful of old Hollywood movies.

lmao Trump's team had to yoink him off the stage before he embarrassed himself any further at the NABJ conference. Those 30 minutes were his own personal version of the Biden debate. Huge props to Kamala's team for letting Trump take this interview solo and declining to appear, the best way to remind people of exactly why Trump is unpopular is by letting him run his mouth to a crowd that doesn't worship him.

Non-Americans and other people who can't or don't vote are allowed to gamble on the election. Polymarket, the biggest political betting place isn't even legal to use within the US, you need a VPN to access it.

PS: Man, they'll tell pregnant women they can't eat anything nowadays. I was having sashimi and steak tartare with egg yolks. The onions and herbs in that steak tartare were probably more risky than the beef.

Go look up what listeria and other baby-dangerous forms of food poisoning actually have come from in the last few years. Spoiler: It's salad vegetables and peanut butter, which no one tells pregnant women to avoid! No one.

The crap they tell you not to eat during pregnancy is totally different from country to country and never has anything to do with relative safety. Realistically, a lot of it seems to be "don't eat the expensive food while you're eating like a pig."

I'm so cautious about what I eat during pregnancy that I don't even touch salad (for reasons that so many have said in this thread). Cooked (mainly frozen and canned) veggies only. lol.

The current Boar's Head recall with the ever-growing listeria outbreak ... Just watch-- that outbreak is totally going to expand from just deli meats (if it hasn't already). It always does, because months later, the actual source of the outbreak is finally discovered (and it's usually stuff like lettuce that ends up being the culprit lol).

As for meat, I pretty much don't risk it at all when it comes restaurants or fast food while pregnant. I only eat meat that's cooked at home, and most of the protein I eat is slow cooked pulled chicken and scrambled eggs. Though, once in a while, my husband will do his all-day long slow cooked brisket that is just ... *chef's kiss*. Haha.

I also eat some fish, but no more than twice a week.
