She had washable pee pads on there.
For herself? For the (adult, should be house trained) dog? Like she'd ever wash them anyway.
Maybe she leaks pee; I wouldn't be surprised. Or maybe Dobby does.
But she can get a pack of 6 plain, washable incontinence pads for a bout $35 on Amazon; insisting that she needs the ones with a printed design on them, at almost the same price for two, is ridiculous.
Her best bets for housing in the future is either section 8 (which she refuses to do) or convincing Mamaw to let her live in the barn with the cats (another definite no go).
I predict she'll end up back at the trailer, even with the collapsing floor, mold, and lack of all basic systems. She can have her turn at shitting in a bucket. If Josh decides he's done and fucks off down to Florida on his own, maybe Meemaw will relent and let Polissa back into her house.
Or, she might finally get desperate enough to accept Section 8 housing, but she'd still fuck that up and get evicted eventually.
Her dream of selling fans on a pier. Does she not have a clue how much hard WORK something like that is?
No, she doesn't. She really, really doesn't.
From ensuring having enough of the right supplies on hand and finished product, to knowing the best times of year locally to sell and making sure you have enough inventory…
It hardly matters; there's a waiting list to get a booth space on the pier she's fantasizing about, and I have no doubt it's a long one. Also, no matter how many fans she paints, she wouldn't get accepted as a vendor because her work isn't good enough, even for tourist kitsch. On top of that, she has no business license, no display fixtures (or money for them), and no proven track record as a vendor anywhere.
Not to mention I doubt she can just set up shop where and when she wants.
She can't. Vendor space on that pier is strictly limited, and if she tried just showing up and parking her fat ass on a bench with a bunch of fans to sell, she'd get booted immediately.
She legit has no clue what it would take to get set up as a vendor anywhere. I don't think she understands that it has to be run as an actual business, not just something she can do as the mood strikes her. And she has absolutely zero idea of how much work it all is, including a lot of work that is tedious, and not enjoyable, and does not feed one's soul.
