Where's the proof that she's intersex? All the stuff I can find are either bullshit or states "speculation".
Do we know for sure that she's intersex (ie DSD, biological male with extra chromosome)?
I can get behind the theory that Algeria is a shithole and they didn't discover her condition at her birth, it's beyond her control and nature's sometimes cruel, but she looks like a very masculine natal woman to me. She's definitely not a troon and her passport says woman, Algeria is pretty far from liberal.
She's been beaten before as well. There are some intersex (biologically male, extra chromosome) people competing in games who do pass testosterone tests to compete in women's sports.
I'm going to be a speculative schizo autist here but bear with me and wear your tinfoil hat.
what we do know:
1) Banned from IBA in 2023 due to failing the testosterone test & a 'secret' DNA test that proves her X&Y chromosomes are a factor in her strength, reflexes and bone density
2) The specifics of the test are confidential (not all that rare as it contains medical history and personal info)
3) Imane Khelif appealed the Court of Arbitration for Sport
4) She not much later withdrew her appeal for no apparent reason
Now, why would she withdraw her appeal if she believes she's in the right here?
She's got her country's federation backing her so money to fund a potential lawsuit shouldn't be a problem and I believe an appeal is similar to that.
Could it potentially be:
A) the results of the tests she took will get out in public if this appeal or lawsuit gets going as proof coming from the IBA to show she's in fact intersex with female genitalia but has gone through male puberty thus having the muscle mass, reflexes and bone density of a man which would put you even more into the spotlight as a fraud and cheater with sponsors pulling out, great shame for your family (muzzies), ban from other competitions, etc.
OR
B) Accept the disqualification and take the L because the
IBA has you figured out and you want to keep up the gig for next year because they can't publish your medical info without you being able to sue them into oblivion while the IOC is a bunch of soyjaks supporting 'muh diversity' so you pull some punches and lose some matches for show and then miraculously beat the shit out of the competition during the Olympics finals so you can get your precious golden medal, take the prize money (50K for Algerians), fame and sports sponsorships that may follow, then quietly retire a few years later when you're ready to buy your very own goat farm, Inshallah.
To put into perspective why she would do this:
50K is the equivalent of 14 years of wages for the average Algerian, sponsorships, fame, appearances will also net you even more money.
There is financial gain, fame and of course pride; a perfect toxic cocktail to do stupid shit and abandon your sense of right or wrong.
And so ends my speculation, only time will tell how it goes and I could be terribly wrong (or right).
