It really says something about the state of the nation that both sides have bases that have resigned themselves to a rigged election. I’m not sure what it says but it sure says something.

They were both Obama era. Wikileaks leaked on Bush era abuses but it's sort of like the Pentagon Papers.

Stuff had come out in the Bush era about indiscriminate mass surveillance, some of which got put into the Simpsons movie, but we didn't know the extent of it until Snowden in 2013

It feels like a hivemind, and those tend to be generally unnerving as a concept. Nobody is thinking for themselves in that situation, but they're thinking with their own best interests in mind, that happens to mean just go with what seems like the popular choice is and hope your puppet won't break down like the last one. It's panic to get things back on track. Picking a jewish vice president will probably incise the Hamas shills, but, let's be real, that could be part of some plan. But! I don't think a lot of intelligence is going into that choice regardless.

It's foolish to think these people have any kind of plan.

Hey, hey, I said could. I'm with you on this. I think they're a bunch of evil, disorganized, and directionless lobotomy victims who just can't think for themselves anymore (despite being so selfish.) There's plenty of evidence for that. I'm just saying whatever plan there could be, if there is one, is probably a very stupid one.

Like this. This would be a very stupid idea. The amount of chaos it would cause for them would be monumental. The first attempt was a disaster, and already has people in the public eye questioning whether the assassination attempt was a deliberate setup. The second one, if it succeeds, would not go the way they think it would. It would reek of conspiracy.

Sunrise is only a couple hours away so probably not tonight. The bigger splash they make the longer it'll take to prepare so might not even be for a few more days.

Like 9/11 JFK and the moon landings, or like the masks do nothing, social distancing doesn't work and you can't cure a cold with a vax, kind of conspiracy? Because all of them are downplayed, ignored or speaking of them sees you lose your job.

MSNPC runs stories of "Trump brought it on himself. Assassination is russian disinformation and How Trump was a true American hero". The NPCs cheer for joy that Orange man gone and the dems take the presidency.

Who cares if it's a conspiracy, sweaty, Cheeto Hitler is gone and here's why it's a good thing.
