Having no chance of winning is not a good reason to not sue someone. The process is the punishment.

It would be more productive to target the root of the problem.I would kill myself first if they tried sending me to jail for copyright.
Not blowing money on a case that will be immediately dismissed probably is, though.Having no chance of winning is not a good reason to not sue someone.

Not blowing money on a case that will be immediately dismissed probably is, though. It would be over so fast, it wouldn't give Russell enough trauma lumps to be worthwhile.
I mean yeah. Still the sentiment remains. Going to jail over copyright is like the gayest shit.It would be more productive to target the root of the problem.
His book is a timeless classic. You do the math.
This is the suit that doesn't end
Yes it goes on and on, my friend
Russ Greer started suing Null not knowing who he was
And he'll continue suing Null forever just because
repeat ad infinitum
I have this mental image of poor Hardin, locked up in a psych ward singing this to himself for the rest of his natural life.
Yes, if you're not a poor like Russ. And frankly suing Russ wouldn't cost him anything either.Oh, does it cost money to file suit now? Someone notify the Utah courts.
Some of you niggers lack vision.
I actually thought about not bringing that up for that very reason. I mentioned it because I'm not sure russ even knows about the specific lolsuit thread... much less is able to actually understand all of it.People have joked that Hardin should file asking to give Russ an infinite extension since that's what he'll get anyway, but what if he does by filing a motion to dismiss without prejudice?
Something like "In consideration of plaintiff's plights, let's dismiss this case without prejudice so he can focus entirely on his living situation, then bring the case again when he's fully ready" and Russ might be stupid enough to agree.
Then when Russ does want to bring the case again, surprise! As previously mentioned, the statute of limitations has passed so he can't bring the case again!
That’s the fun thing about LLCs, they HAVE to be defended by a lawyer (and iirc even if YOU are a lawyer you can’t defend your LLC).That whole "the process is the punishment" thing only works against people who have something to lose, people who have to hire a lawyer because they can't afford not to.
At the last minute or just beyond Russ will file some drivel that can best be summed up as “muh plights” and “6”.So, is anything going to change on the 5th? If that deadline hasn't also been moved, I can't keep track.
Greetings, dear Child of Stalker. So, is anything going to change on the 5th? If that deadline hasn't also been moved, I can't keep track.
"Oh Hardin, you sweet, winterless child. You actually believe Greer is the plaintiff here?"Something like "In consideration of plaintiff's plights, let's dismiss this case without prejudice so he can focus entirely on his living situation, then bring the case again when he's fully ready" and Russ might be stupid enough to agree.
Russ won't file anything. So, is anything going to change on the 5th? If that deadline hasn't also been moved, I can't keep track.
I agree, but I will take an overall more optimistic view than youRuss won't file anything.
I really REALLY hope that this is indeed the TRUE last chance and the judge is just lining up everything so that he can dismiss with prejudice and not have any chance of it blowing back on him should the bamboon fail to submit anything once again.I agree, but I will take an overall more optimistic view than you
The way things have been going I fully expect Greer to miss the deadline, Hardin to file something (anything at all) that notices this, and the judge immediately ruling in Greer's favor. But I am anticipating the worst while hoping for the best here.
The doomposting mentality is pointless. If everything is hopeless, then why botherThe way things have been going I fully expect Greer to miss the deadline, Hardin to file something (anything at all) that notices this, and the judge immediately ruling in Greer's favor.
And before anyone says "The judge can't do that ..." you've been saying that about the judges in this case for nigh on four years and they keep on doing it anyway.
