I think we are seeing that already; not to minimize the utter nail biting experience it must have been to live through the Troubles but even then Irish nationalism transcended sectarian lines more often than people understand or acknowledge to this day; the sectarian divide was pushed by the very same people who flooded the UK with migrants. Historical revisionism has always been a weapon in their arsenal.

This is similar to what Jews would do in New York. The Jewish community would have you believe they all moved there and started off as servants and street venders and worked their way to the top. No. A congregation in Poland or something would send people to New York, they would buy or set up a mill, buy up some flats and apartments, then the whole congregation would move in. They would have a place to live, shops established, and a job set up for them, all purchased with 300 years of wealth extracted from the peasants of eastern europe.
