An important factor to bear in mind regarding the potential response to this and how it may echo Jan 6th is that the UK government is not like the US, in particular there exists a major competency and capacity crisis within all levels of the British state apparatus that just isn't as big of an issue for the US Feds. While the latter consists of the largest and most well funded government apparatus in history, the former has suffered from years of poor budgeting, loss of front-line staff, and an ever increasing population of low IQ dei and middle management hires that lack the intellectual and emotional capacity to deal with complex problems.

All of the above have led to the current day, where I have serious doubts the British government will be physically capable of actually implementing any sort of major crackdown to an effective degree, no matter how much frothing Starmer does at his press releases. It's all well and good talking about task forces this, and facial recognition that, but unless you have competent staff and provide them with the right amount of time and resources, nothing you want will actually be delivered.

Of course we'll see a fair few boomers that posted spicy shit from their Facebook profiles getting pulled and hit with lengthy hate crime sentences, with some terror charges added in for good measure too. But from my own experiences of dealing with UK security/police personnel, asking them to do anything more complex than going through someone's public social media posts is genuinely asking quite a lot from them, and I can only imagine how much worse it's gotten since then.

Reminder to all Brits here. If it looks like it's going to get bad in your area and you're concerned about defending your home and family, crossbows are legal to own and keep in your house.

There is no licensing and no requirement to register. They can be picked up with a cocking mechanism that allows fast reload in aluminium for as little as £50 online with a few bolts.

This is ONLY advice for in your own home defending it. You cannot legally take a crossbow in a public place even in an unloaded state so DO NOT do it.

This post is about your own piece of mind and looking after your family, not about starting some sort of boogaloo, that's on your own retarded head if you try.

Buying a crossbow in the middle of race riots might genuinely be one of the dumbest fucking things you could do right now. The best time to own one was months ago before any of this.

For home protection, you can get crowbars fairly easily at places like B&Q, just don't be a retard and buy only that, buy a years supply of regular hardware at the same time.

As long as it isn't a huge corporation like Amazon buying from small, independent prepper shops is your best bet. The aluminium training bolts won't do much but they'll help you out in a hypothetical pinch.

Don't forget to buy extra parts for them too.
