I'll still fight sometimes, because being a coward isn't good either. If your cause is good you can express it, even though it'll offend those types, it's ok. If you lose close people when they're beyond reason, it was never a close thing to begin with.

I see where you're coming from. I don't see it as cowardice; I see it as self preservation. Myself, I don't know much about US politics. But, I am acutely aware of the trajectory from the Trump presidency to the Biden presidency. Somebody like me arguing on the current state of the world would be low hanging fruit for them to deflect and insult me with logical fallacies and clear bias. It comes to a point where people are set in their ways, you ask yourself: is it worth starting something? Take that what you will.

Trump might be trying to do the "big ask" tactic. He makes his demand, Kamala makes hers, and eventually there's an agreement to have each since Trump agreed to two debates and the first one with Biden doesn't count anymore since he's dropped out.
