Maybe, but besides the obvious answer of "the process of dealing with our legally untenable bullshit is the punishment", trying that shit anyway will give the bleating masses something to focus their anger on, again, since Thing That Was Definitely Supposed To Work, Promise, But Didn't Because Someone Is A Big Meaniehead® will allow the niggercattle to claim the supreme court is the reason Trump wasn't rightly removed from office, which given the seething about a court that reads laws and makes rulings based on words written down rather than their communist law professor's wet dreams made manifest, can only work in the DNC's favor.

At least I'd guess that's the logic at play assuming they're serious.

It wouldn't even hit SCOTUS. In order to invoke article 13 they would need to push that in the House and Senate. And well... if they cannot get the filibuster altered, they aren't getting the Senate to sign off on the 13th. Especially not when Harris is actually -hated- by most of the -Democrat- senators.

And the House is GOP controlled, and the vote for it would be suicidal. And there is nothing you can count on more than a politician to save their own skin. Most NeverTrumpism is performative, not really felt sentiment.

If the Democrats plan to go with Raskin's brain cancer, they better make sure they secure beforehand the absolute loyalty of most of the military's O5s (colonels and Navy captains) and down. Those will be the men they need to take and carryout "shoot to kill" orders (general officers are useless; no one would listen to them).

The main economic engines of the rust belt, were built on the backs of ex-slaves who came up from the south seeking economic opportunity. Chicago and Detroit are black cities. The middle/upper class whites watched their industries get built by working class blacks, stayed for the money, then left when there was none left to leech.
