Walz is so much of a wet blanket I can’t even come up with a good shitpost for him. Whatever. Let’s look at the polls:

KAMALA’S NUMBER ONE IN THE POLLS!
Hold on, polls have error retard. And gee does this composition sure look a lot weirder than what we’ve been getting for the past year. Where’s Emerson, NYT, and Fox News? You know, the good pollsters? At the top of the list we have NPR/PBS which is just Marist. Shit pollster. SurveryUSA? The fuck is that? Why is the composition of pollsters completely different from Biden’s?

I’ll tell you why. It’s because Kamala’s numbers are shit and the good pollsters are trying to delay putting those results out. They’re leaving it to the push polls to try to generate some momentum. But eventually the chickens will come home to roost. Trump will be soaring sky high in one or two weeks.

Tim Walz has this generic look that captures the worst of all politicians...Howard Dean, McCain, Fat Biden. If you told me that he was a wax creation designed to look like a generic Washington politician, I'd believe you.

A lot of them are clearly new pollsters...only one that's been recording consistently is M consult which went 180 in less than 1 month....

My question surrounding the polls this cycle is if the phenomena of the "shy Trump voter", those who were afraid to admit to pollsters that they were voting for Trump or avoided pollsters altogether, are going to be a factor again or if they even still exist in large numbers. I remember that excuse being used when everyone was trying to explain why they were so radically wrong in 2016 and why 2020 was closer than people thought it would be.

I see all these posts on X and talking heads in conservative media proclaiming that it's no longer taboo to publicly support Trump. I agree that there's something to that, but I don't know whether or not it's enough of a factor to say that the polls are going to be more accurate this time around.
