Paris 2024 Olympics shenanigans - The most multicultural Olympics ever.

Good, the IOC deserves every ounce of the backlash
Yeah, they get what they fuckin desserve as the Joker might said.

Btw, there's a short rant about the "greenie olympics".

More greenie Olympic FAILS: worms in food, meat airlifts, athlete camping out in public park

By Monica Showalter

Is there anything the greenie Olympics can't do? Or more specifically, do to us?

We already know that they are forcing elite athletes to swim in the Paris sewer to win their gold medals, as noted here.
We also know that they've introduced woman-beating as a spectator sport with the admission of transgender and genetically abnormal athletes into the women's competitions, where they are scarfing up the medals and knocking women right off the podiums. This has been noted here and here.

Don't forget the Christian-mocking, they had that, too.
And we know that in the greenie heart of the Olympic village, where the housing of top athletes is arranged, there is no effective air conditioning based on claims to saving the Earth. Keeping with the green theme, athletes are also forced to sleep on cardboard beds, same way bums in the park do, once again in the name of going green. I wrote about that here.

Kellie Harrington won a gold in the Olympics again, making her a double champion. Irish people are thrilled and immensely proud of her. Unfortunately, not everyone is as ecstatic. Some salty Irish shitlibs who simply cannot fathom alternate views are seething because Harrington dares to have differing opinions to the mainstream media on trannies and immigration.

Last year, NewsTalk tried to character assassinate her because of one of her tweets about migrant crime in France and she put the interviewer in his place and shut him down.

Predictably journos weren't too happy that she wouldn't give in.

Was Rio this much of a shitshow? When Brazil can run an Olympics better you know France is a shithole.

Can't wait til 2028 in LA, that's gonna be funny.
Reminder that all three medalists in Rio in the women’s 800m were 5-ARD DSD males like Imane Khelif

All three medalists have been found to have the 46,XY karyotype and produce levels of testosterone in the male range,[4] which enables building of greater muscle mass and better processing of energy. The IAAF has subsequently ruled that this gives them an unfair advantage.

Gold: Caster Semenya (5-ARD XY DSD male now banned from competing as a woman)

Silver: Francine Niyonsaba (5-ARD XY DSD male now banned from competing as a woman)

Bronze: Margaret Wambui (5-ARD XY DSD male now banned from competing as a woman)

Rio was incredibly pozzed.

Many years ago, the BBC had a thriving comments section on their website. Sadly, like most comments sections, it's mostly gone because they didn't like people being able to comment on things above their station, even when moderated. But you can still use your BBC account to send in vacuous comments or like posts on their live blogs. Likes aren't normally interesting, but they do provide the odd chuckle from time to time.

Maybe the best way to get the average Briton to stand up to two-tier policing is to imply that the foreigners benefiting from it are Australian?

Turns out there is a gymnastics scandal with third place Jordan Chile. Romanian gymnast Ana Bărbosu allegedly placed third and while she was celebrating (heartbreaking to watch), the score was changed to put Chile instead. Some are saying the intention was to have an "all black" podium, with the winner being a Brazilian kid and Simone and Chile second and third. It makes sense because I don't see Ana doing this:

The moment the score changed:

Particularly important because, a few years ago, Romania was trying to go back to be a gymnastic powerhouse as many kids weren't interested in the sport due to the bad economy and other factors. I know there is a second Romanian gymnast involved, but I don't have the info at the moment. Will look for it later.
This one is absolutely brutal. Imagine cheating you out of a bronze and then they do a performance to celebrate you not there. Absolute humiliation.

I thought nothing will beat the male boxer and the surrounding drama but holy shit, this one boils my blood.

Is it just me or is there this influx of media talking about how Simone Biles is shutting down the haters?

What fucking haters? Yes, I get why she got criticized, but it feels like the media is ready to jump out at you from every corner to remind you she's the GOAT because someone, somewhere called her out for being a pussy four years ago.
Approved Narratives™ only.

Is she particularly arrogant or are all Americans exceptionalists like this? Wearing a goat necklace made my wife hate her, she is so obnoxiously arrogant it’s very off-putting.

I get the sense that what happened at the last Olympics - or more accurately, the criticism she got - really got under her skin.

Everything I read about her in this Olympics comes across as arrogant, thin-skinned and painfully self-aggrandizing. She's a great athlete, yes, but she refuses to let the medals speak for themselves.

Two triathletes have been hospitalized after swimming in the river of shit. Interesting lore I learned from this article: swimming has been banned in the river since 1923! It’s that dirty!

And that was during the Olympic Triathlon, which is only a 1.5km swim.

Wait till you have the 10km open water swimming tomorrow - yes, that shit is held in the same portion of the Seine too apparently (I've just seen it earlier while looking for track&field tickets). Wonder how many will be sick afterwards.

IIRC she chickened out of the last Olympics under the guise of mental health.
