It is wild to think that the one and only time Null talks about the owner of fur affinity, specifically his mortality, he is reported dead within hours. He could very well have died during his segment on MATI.
Moloch demanded sacrifice, and the choice was made for him by who he happened to be talking about. Fortunately he talks about people he dislikes more than those he likes.

I really don't know how this would shake out. A lot of their porn that isn't just coomer-run bots is posted by aspiring only fans whores. I wonder how many would pay $5/month to post their advertisements for an OF page that makes probably 30 dollars/mo which is more like 15 after everyone else takes their cut to a fraction of the actual audience that makes it past the paywall filter for NSFW shit. I'm sure the OF gals are hyper-aware that any money spent on reddit is not getting spent on their pages.
The state of the internet is fucking dire, so maybe a majority will buy in because reddit is still huge and there's not a lot of other places which get eyes. The sicko part of my brain wants to see them try it because I really don't believe this is going to be the revenue boon they think it will be.

I think the point is over time he's not able to be empathized with, going in he's framed as the protagonist but they kind of attempt to reveal he's the problem/core antagonist. Issue is these types of characters are romanticized in recent years. So that idea is somewhat lost to modern younger viewers thinking "wow thats based."

There's a recent argument to be made that the character is a propaganda piece against traditional values, rather than one advocating for them that I think is reasonably well thought out.

Basically this character doesn't accept the changing world and gets divorce raped, and shot dead, he's meant to be framed so that this is what you get for resisting change, this is you if you don't like it, you're probably a safety hazard to those around you or if you try imparting your ideas of normalcy upon those around you.

and the other protagonist that welcomes the new wave of cultural shift gets everything he wants and retires a happy life with his wife in arizona.

Falling Down isn't a based movie.

I would also like to second that one superchatter who recommended Outer Wilds for a MATI gaming rec. It’s one of the best single player games in the last decade and a great example in using gameplay to tell a story.

I could see Null enjoying it. It’s a vibe. There’s also no tranny or woke shit in it from what I can remember.

Best not to stream it though because spoilers will absolutely ruin that game and chat can be a dick if they wanted to.

Idk I read half the plot synopsis and this entire movie seems like "white man acts like a nigger" except for this part where he kills a "homophobic neonazi" because he was a hekking bigot.

They will never make a proper "based" movie where a man takes revenge on fucked up society cause in a based movie he would be killing politicians, billionaires and journalists, not innocent store owners and people just doing their jobs. This is just a movie for impotent whuite men who wish they could go full niggo mode. I bet Ethan Ralph thinks this movie is awesome.

Exactly, his resistance is deliberately written to be aimless and angry at the new world he's found himself in. If he didn't victimize others he couldn't be the regressive antagonist in the progressive story. They double down on this by shoehorning that hes a domestic abuser at the end. Remember, this is you if you don't like change. Look at the nice officer who plays along with everything, he accepts change and gets to retire with his wife. The other guy gets shot ded and divorce raped. Now don't you feel like participating in the changing world?

Dfens is a caricature meant to forward narratives.
I will disclose that I first heard this argument on a shitty overly long youtube video but nonetheless find it compelling.

You don't get it. It was never intended to be a "based" movie. In the first unhinged scene, he beats up a Korean store owner and then asks if the Korean knows how much money America has given his country, muddying the waters by blaming a random Korean instead of the people who instigated the war in the first place (politicians and billionaires). It's literally and unironically just propaganda.
The director and lead actor are both Jewish btw. But for (((some reason))) everyone pretends Michael Douglas is just an angry entitled huwite man.

Agreed but just so long as you keep in mind that Foster's wife admits that he has never been violent, and yet has taken out a restraining order against him for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Because white men are evil and should be replaced by strong independent women of color. Or something like that.

The flipside is the part with the home video tape where he flips his shit on his toddler daughter for not enjoying the antique horse. Bare in mind the zeitgeist of toys marketed to children at the time period. The movie attempts to poke at this with all the toy guns at her birthday party. The kid narratively didn't understand the horse. He's not physically violent up to the events of the movie but he's portrayed ostensibly aggressive.
