I want to speak on this as it seems none of birdie fans are knowledgeable on autism and neither is birdie
It’s actually very normal for parents to bathe their children who have bad hygiene especially those with autism as they struggle with it the most
And from what i can remember birdie admitted multiple times to struggling with bathing on its own

I think this is what it considers that trauma
It did write some more under its tweet though I can't understand most of it due to the "LOL SO RANDOM" style of typing and it seems to be of little note at first glance

If this is actually true, I can understand why her parents don't consider it sexual abuse, although considering what we know about her mother it seems perfectly in line. If it was due to her issues maintaining hygiene on her own, it's understandable why she'd still find it invasive and violating even if there is no sexual intent. Even if disabled children at that age need help bathing themselves, it's frequently recommended to have them wear a swimsuit for the sake of privacy. Since she already was diagnosed with autism and had a therapist and psychiatrist I have no idea why her parents didn't ask for help on how to get her to shower in a way that's not uncomfortable for her.

Birdie can talk, move, and do things on her own. I honestly see how it’s weird for her mother and father to bathe her even if she has hygiene issues, she’s not completely disabled and doesn’t need to be bathed at all, this seems more like emotional incest in my opinion.

It's a common issue with autistic people and especially children to ignore personal hygiene even if they aren't severely autistic. It's typically due to them not understanding why it's important so it seems like a boring, meaningless task to them and/or sensations like a toothbrush rubbing against their gums or water hitting their skin triggering their sensory issues. It can be a long and frustrating task understanding why in specific they avoid taking care of themselves and requires a lot of patience and understanding to help them learn to keep themselves clean. It's already well established that her parents were pretty negligent, so I imagine they just didn't bother and simply forced her into the bathtub like a dog.

birdie not being psychically disabled doesnt mean every day tasks are difficult, autism heavily effects the brain and makes doing things as simple as bathing or brushing your teeth difficult, just because birdie can “talk and move” doesnt mean they arent disabled in some form

I am autistic myself, and have struggled with similar issues relating to hygiene. Being bathed at the age of 15 by your parents is simply strange if not for extreme circumstances. Sophia does have issues with hygiene but not to the point where she needs to be bathed, it’s a point where she needs to be disciplined to do so, and since Sophia mentioned not feeling comfortable with this, it could entail that she had the ability to do it herself and simply didn’t have the choice on wether she could or not because of her parents. Unfortunately we can’t know for sure, but even then it seems unlikely that it would be just because of her poor hygiene.

New art, more about that Rick and Morty storyline
That text is nearly impossible to read. I'm not sure if I care to put in the effort.
The cat art is cute but looks ugly in the rick and morty style
I also don’t understand people like birdie who claim to be anti proship but then they like rick and morty content, you know multiple instances of random incest within the show and even teenagers jerking off
Youd think these “anti proshippers” would be against it but i guess not
I was wondering if I was the only one to think this.

From my experience in fandom, I get the feeling that in a lot of these communities, existing franchises are seen as untouchable monoliths. It's easier to go after "problematic content" created by individuals than attacking a show like Rick and Morty, because you'd reach a larger audience who would laugh at you. Generally, these people have poor expectations of each other as well. Whatever you write or draw is seen as a gospel regarding your moral compass. The double standards placed on creation vs consumption are intense, certain truths are seen as untouchable, ships are reflective of morals – and somewhere in there we have people like Birdie, who draw explicit gore art of anything up to and including genital mutilation, self-ship with their 14 year old OC, and then put "proshippers DNI" in their bio. At that point, it might just be better to stop throwing stones in glass houses, but I digress. It's a very confusing atmosphere overall.
Haven’t seen anyone mention this one.

Some schizophrenic on twitter is trying to cancel Jack.
Like attracts like it seems.
