Why is trump not orange anymore? every time i see him speak it makes me do a double take and wonder why he looks different.
He's still the same color and still gets raccoon eyes from time to time from the goggles you wear during a spray tan.

I think he looks less orange to you because there's not a box screaming in your ear every 5 seconds that he's orange. If they go back to saying orange every 5th word, you'll probably notice it more.

Might be because journalists aren't even putting in the effort to orange-ify Trump as much anymore. IIRC you can tell when Trump's face has been edited to look more orange: his eyes will look brown, even though they're actually blue.

Her and Drudge have lost the plot.

Which is crazy, because I have vivid memories of my mom listening to both of them, especially Drudge during the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal.
Seeing my dad lose faith and trust in Drudge and Fox News was really sad. He's still bitter about it to this day, especially when Fox News didn't call Florida for Trump in 2020.

The way Kemp is acting it would not surprise me to see VA flip but GA be rigged blue, and I wonder what Youngkin is seeing. He doesn't like Trump but he's smart enough to know how to use him to get things done and harness MAGA for power.

Trump winning AZ, GA and then flipping VA to win despite rigging in the rustbelt would be a perfect way to cap off the election TBH.

imo, more mounting evidence that Crooks had been instructed by someone to maintain a low internet presence and get very, very good at shooting a small target from a long distance and was only stopped because the local police interfered with the original plan

Donald Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks' biggest obsession is revealed with explosive new details

Thomas Matthew Crooks spent copious amounts of time at a nearby gun club as sharpshooting became his profound obsession before he attempted to kill former President Donald Trump.

The would-be assassin visited the range 43 times went to target practice three to six times per month for a year before the assassination plot, according to bombshell new records obtained by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).

The records obtained by DailyMail.com indicate he spent 80 percent of his time at the range doing rifle practice with long guns rather than handguns.

And the obsession even overshadowed his holidays as he spent Christmas Day, Valentine's Day and Halloween at the club in Clairton, Pennsylvania.

New bodycam video from Trump assassination attempt shows cops confronting armed Thomas Crooks on roof

Newly released body-cam footage shows the moment a police officer is boosted onto the roof where would-be Trump assassin Thomas Crooks was perched – and finds himself staring down the gunman’s barrel.

The footage, obtained by Fox News Digital, came from the Butler Township Police officer who climbed onto the roof of AGR International on July 13.

The officer can be seen being lifted up by another officer, then as he struggles to hoist himself up, he peers over the roof ledge.

Within a moment, he drops back down to the ground and sprints out around the building, seemingly warning fellow officers and bystanders watching nearby.

Seconds later, Crooks would open fire on the former president’s rally, striking him in the ear and killing one bystander. The gunman was dead within seconds of his first shot.

By your definition, every government is an oligarchy. Even democratically elected politicians are a group of people holding power over the rest. That is a definition so broad as to be completely pointless.

Yes, every government in the world is currently an oligarchy. Having 1 act of democracy doesn't make a government a democracy. Electing an oligarchy doesn't mean it's not an oligarchy. The definition isn't pointless, it's telling you that a group of people with power is an oligarchy. A dictionary definition: "a small group of people having control of a country or organization". Unless I've counted wrong the government of the USA is made up of 561 people. The actual Cabinet only 26 people. Even with the larger number of 561 that's still a small group of people compared to the population of 336 million (official numbers according to the government website). That is less than 0.0002% of the population controlling the other 99.9998%+ on all issues. Yet people against democracy will tell you that's better than potentially 50.1% of the population controlling the other 49.9%. On each issue separately.

The average citizen doesn't have the time, the knowledge, the experience, or the fucks to give about every single issue in society. So they elect a handful of people to make those decisions on their behalf.

Government is the dirty business of bossing other people around, but someone's gotta do it. The best you can hope for is to have some small say in who makes the decisions. Not every king can be an Aragorn.
