Long time lurker here. I am glad this site is still alive, one of the last beacons of freedom.

Regarding the person at hand: What I gathered from all social media and other posts, weighed 600lb, lost 100, so 500 at time of death. Aged 45, smoked pot (until cash ran out) and drank alcohol. I would imagine some other drugs were involved too occasionally. Unhealthy eating habits with not enough nutrients and vitamins.

Tried some online life expectancy calculators, but they only go to 400lb which they result in 52-55 years. Pretty severe reduction even by basic math. He said his bmi was 55.

I would suspect, something went on after surgery, given he croaked this fast. They usually burn the tissues after biopsy, so it doesn't bleed. Since he was coughing a lot even post surgery (should have stayed in hospice) then that calmed down and restarted at home, I would suspect some internal bleeding into lungs which will kill anyone pretty fast. Biopsy is a pretty severe procedure, and it isn't done for no reason. So they likely suspected some form of cancer. Fungal or bacteria infection can be found out by a swabs. His white blood cell count was lower than it should be and monocytes high. Infections would give high wbc if I recall. Low is hiv or some other form of blood issues, blood or bone marrow cancer. Not too terrible blood results from what he had.
If they reached ER, he would be put on oxygen and so on and have some fast diagnosis what actually went on. It is possible that his heart just gave out at the same time too. 2 months of fever and weight is too much strain. Coughing could also mean slow heart failure and as result fluids pooling in lungs, usually that takes some time tho.

Cpap machine was prob used almost all the time at the end, weakening the breathing muscles. It is possible that gave him lung issues with the foam thing and recurring infections, but overall, things were bad even before. He mentiones slow healing (diabetes etc) beforehand.

Dudes story was pretty tragic in the end, father dying, getting divorced. He mentions some injury and being unqualified for any work due to smoking pot and also loosing his ADHD prescription. May have self-medicated that way, but in the end it's just a slow downward spiral.

Overall I think it's a mix of things that got him. Mentioning craters in lungs I doubt it would be lung cancer in such area as that would kill him earlier than getting diagnosis. Spitting out blood would indicate something in upper respiratory tract/throat.
Colorectal cancer is probable, but he hasn't complained over stomach issues and hasn't gained weight (lost 100). I think he just fried his lungs with smoking pot, maybe meth. Would have been better if he got one of those inhaler-vaporizer things that don't fill your lungs with smoke, but it is what it is. He complained about not being able to eat anything among lasts post, so in the end, it may be buttcrabs and bowel obstuction that spread everywhere too or from morphium or drugs they put him under.

The site apparently doesn't take a lot of money to run. We can extrapolate that from a recent site announcement from Green Reaper, talking about how they will need to either ban UK traffic or require age verification for UK visitors in the future.

With our current traffic, that could mean £2000+ just to verify the ~6,500 UK users active in the last month; half IB's annual budget

So Inkbunny operates on a yearly budget of roughly £4~5k, which is not that big.
