This. I've seen so much conflicting information, it's driving me insane.
I feel like the truth is something like this: she was indeed raised as a woman and everyone including herself thought she was a woman (re: transgenderism is illegal in Algeria, and she was supposedly discouraged from boxing because she was a girl, so if she wasn't a girl, that wouldn't make sense), BUT she has a complex DSD causing her to appear more masculine and likely to have more masculine advantages like strength.
So no, she's not a man, but yes, she shouldn't be allowed to compete if she really has this much of an advantage.
