The 2016 election was close, though. Hilary won the popular vote. I wonder if Comey re-opening the "email scandal" weeks before the election had anything to do with it. Ironically, Trump fired Comey. I like Comey. He did his job without being partisan. He has the perfect storm of advantages in 2016, Hillary Clinton was just so haltable and in many ways was seen as the face of American corruption, fun fact the family in the Netflix show house of cards is based of the Clintons.

JD Vance is a flip flopper (he’s important this election because if Trump wins there’s a significant chance he’ll have a heart attack or just get too tired to be president).
If 2028 has Vance/Zuckerberg as the Republican ticket, I would never think to see that America lived long enough for literal robot candidates.JD Vance would work better as a ticket with Ron DeSantis. But I suspect a JD Vance and Mark Zuckerberg ticket. Mark Zuckerberg keeps giving hints he is going to switch over to the republicans because of how anti-Jewish democrats are getting.
If it's a psyop he did it to himself. He literally posted a screenshot about this weird woman/dolphin sex thing but the search automatically bolds the words that were in the search, and he 100% searched for woman and dolphin sex. He intentionally searched for it. It's like typing into a browser search bar and the previous searches popping up.I've seen posters unironically mention the dolphin porn thing in other threads. I was beginning to think it was real, but some weird frat bro thing or something.
Now I'm convinced it was a psyop to distract people from the dolphin porn.
I'd recommend not believing what Trump says. You'd have to have an intellectual disability to believe anything he claims (see: Thunderdomers)View attachment 6293189

Is it me, or roles really did reverse since 2016? MAGA seems always mad, seething and bitching about everything, while democrats having a good time.
They sure did. Trump is not some unknown like he was in 2015-2016 where people were willing to give him a chance because they liked The Apprentice; he’s had one term in office. He oversaw the first year of the COVID response, the printing of trillions of dollars that helped to kick off inflation happened on his watch. He can’t rely on his track record, which is James Buchanan-tier. So it’s all about personality worship. Trump’s fans resemble Trump himself: old, angry, and loud.
Honestly, I’d say the thing that changed between now and 2016 is that MAGA has taken the Democrats’ mantle of going off about “this is a fight for the soul of America. Vote like the fate of the country depends on it, because it does”.Trump's loss in 2020 was predictable. I know some copers believe that voter fraud lost him the election and I do not think that there was any significant voter fraud. I can maybe buy that there was some lone wolf activist who hated Trump and fucked with the ballots but I don't think that was a top down plan from the DNC and it was not enough to win the election for Trump. I predicted his defeat and here is why.
1: His margin of victor in 2016 was rail thin, he won by like 80,000 votes IIRC
2: He has the perfect storm of advantages in 2016, Hillary Clinton was just so haltable and in many ways was seen as the face of American corruption, fun fact the family in the Netflix show house of cards is based of the Clintons. This was after the Obama years where she was secretary of state. The Democrats ran someone from the Obama camp and the husband of Bill Clinton at a time when many were sick of the neoliberalism they represented. It would be like if in 2016 the Republicans ran Dick cheny. In addition there was the Bernie scandal and the wikileaks leaks. Trump's key to victory was winning Michigan and Wisconsin, these are some of the only states where more people identify as populist then as republican or democrat. There was also his meme factor with many people straight up saying they voted for him just because they thought he was funny.
3: All of these advantages dried up by 2020, 2016 to 2020 was seen as a crazy wild time and weather or not that is accurate or not is irrelevant that is how people thought. So to many the corruption of the Neocon Neolib years didn't seem like a big deal they just wanted to go back to normal. Trump had lost populist by not really doing anything he promised. Lastly Trump's x factor disappeared after he was in office for 4 years and didn't do anything and with the media attention around Trump getting so bad and the punishment for supporting him getting so high people weren't going to support him ironically anymore.
Take me back to the days of playing Shadilay, please.
The leading theory is that he legitimately does not know what seeking asylum is. He thinks asylum seekers are coming from insane asylums. Hence, the weird fixation on a fictional serial killer that was in an insane asylum.Okay I have no idea what the fuck he means with this Hannibal Lecter thing, I'd get it if it is a one off bit, but I am so confused

I'd personally go for Trump because I find him amusing, some of his group's policies would benefit me personally (I don't actually give a fuck about the US, sorry burgerbros) and I know enough about Kamala Harris to have an allergic reaction to seeing her face on mainstream media.
My sides burst open like claymore mines.
He did literally say that some illegal immigrants are coming from prisons, mental institutes, or insane asylums. So quite possiblyThe leading theory is that he legitimately does not know what seeking asylum is. He thinks asylum seekers are coming from insane asylums. Does he have a clue?He turned his caps lock on again.

He's demonstrated that his only plans are for flaccid displays of action, like the table of papers that was supposed to be the fix to US healthcare system. Turns out it was more nothing.Does he have a clue?
Maybe instead of attacking his opponents, he ought to start telling everyone how he's going to bring down inflation, fix the economy, etc.
If you listen to him, he genuinely believes that tariffs are paid for by the other party and not the US consumer. He has no fucking clue how anything works because he was handed a business empire and has kept it alive on name recognition and grift alone.Does he have a clue?
