I was going thru 4chan looking for topics to read and I can across this and was remind of how much @FROG fumbled with getting allies with any sort of follower base to work under his comicsgate umbrella. And then it hit me. Why haven’t any comicsgate or and right-leaning comics or indie projects hit mainstream? I mean, with people like DailyWire and X and Fox you’d think this kind of stuff would be adapted and plastered everywhere. But nothing just has the same reach as even something like Paramount or Universal or even Disney. New Norm and Bircum both got homo fanfic’d and privated and Rippaverse isn’t as influential as many thought it would (at least not yet). Not to be conspiratorial but it’s strange that so many attempts to be the next big thing and take down the mainstream likes of the big 2 nothing has actually achieved that. Half the nation would probably gobble this I think, but no.

I think it's actually really hard to create and market successful comics without the resources of the big two or even the larger indies. Back when comics were a much smaller industry there was a lot of copying of successful ideas between comic book companies. Sometimes the copy was more successful than the original. Back in those days, comics had less competition. I mean comics were important to young people in a pre-VHS world. Can they even be as important in a post-VHS, streaming video world? (Except... there's an ever expanding manga section in the local Books A'Million that I suspect might be carrying the store. Odd that.)

One thing that the larger indies did was get properties like Alien, Predator, The Simpsons, Futurama & stuff like that and make comics about them. This was the route I thought Zack was going with the Expendables comics and First Kill. I never thought he was going to be a major success, but I thought he might make a comfortable living that way. Instead, he's going down the much more profitable route of a-logging Tee Franklin and "Birthday Party Clowns."

Will it be as successful? Only time will tell.

beef&beans(beans are pre-cooked, obviously -- I've used rice in place of beans, different but not bad) fried in a small amount of butter, with chilli powder. toss onto soft tortilla, top with sharp cheddar, dallop of sour cream, apply salsa and guacamole.

Alternatively pan fry bacon. Leave a small amount of bacon grease in the pan. Scramble eggs(2-3 eggs depending on size). Add cheese of your choice to the eggs as they're cooking up. Tos on soft tortilla. Place bacon on eggs, top with salsa.

I may be a lunatic, but I love good food.

Let's see. I'm not interested in Zack telling me what is wrong with Buckaroo Banzai or The Godfather. Well, I should probably watch those just to see how bad his takes are, though I think I got enough of that when I watched him talk about how he would improve Spawn. I'm not interested in The Flash, And Just Like That or Emily in Paris at all. If Splatto Del Gato was his only channel, I'm pretty sure I would never have watched it.
