Also this is the first election year I remember that gas hasn't gotten super cheap. Taking road trips was one of my fave election year activities cuz of the cheap gas. Bout $3.15 a gallon here. Not terrible, but not good

If you're implying this is worsened by gas, absolutely. Not just the supply trucks, but the trucks supplying everything up the chain, down the chain, those workers' cars, the factories' and farms' machines... not to mention everything made with oil. Oil and food aren't included in the inflation rate because their prices are "volatile" (their words, not mine), which masks just how bad the problem really is.

While I don't have a lot of receipts, I know inflation's about/at least 50% since a large drink at McD's is up from $1 to 1.49.

The Obama birth certificate hullaballoo was especially stupid because John McCain was literally born in the Panama Canal Zone.

Having an American parent makes you a natural-born citizen for all purposes, including elections. You don't have to actually be born here to be a natural-born citizen. Being born here is a sufficient but not necessary condition.

I've noticed people on both sides of the political aisle are very bad at understanding "sufficient but not necessary condition." You see this on the left when they say "how dare you say someone who had a child is always a woman, are you saying women who can't have kids aren't real women?!"

Some things qualify you with no additional qualification to some status, even if the status can be obtained in other ways with various other qualifications.

What makes this fact-check funnier is that they didn't fact check inflation, which is much higher than 9.1%, or would be, if they hadn't changed how inflation is calculated. IIRC it is the highest level of inflation in 100 years and it's around the 20% mark, they just fudged the figures.

So, Trump is right.
