Kamala Harris is a historically unpopular human being. She literally fucked her way to the top and failed at every single task she's ever been trusted with. If she wins this election, which I believe she will due to election fortification, then this country deserves all the misery they "voted" for.
FTFY

To be fair to Biden, they did fuck him really hard. I would be pissed.
Eh, considering how the position seemed to be killing him anyway, I'm not so sure. He's been playing the game long enough that he probably gets it. His son was shielded from the worst of the shit that went under, Biden himself is likely walking off scott free for any corruption he did participate in, he gets to go down in the history books as a president if not for anything else he's gotten up to, and he can dip out before the whole "rando's shooting at politicians" that's started gets worse.

In return, it costs him a public perception he doesn't need anymore, and ends a career track he arguably already topped out. I'm sure he's been involved in enough backroom politics that he considers this to be a good outcome in his coherent moments. Its the demented half that's probably pissed and confused, but I doubt anyone can do anything about that.

Today my family tried to get out of me who I'm voting for, and I realized I actually don't know if I want to or if I should vote at all. I have pretty strong views on specific issues and both candidates have sworn to do things I absolutely fucking hate and affect me personally, basically. It feels like voting if I want to get shot in the left foot or the right foot.

For a while I've been thinking "Who are these undecided voters anyways?" and literally just today I realized I'm one of them.
Without going into more specifics about my state, I don't really think it fucking matters what my vote is, it's a foregone conclusion. All of my family and many of my friends are highly political one way or the other, and I feel like it'll just start fights I don't want to fight if I make a choice either way.

Obviously I don't have to tell them my choice, but if I go vote they'll know I made a choice, and if I don't assure them I chose their side, they'll assume I voted for Hitler because that's how these things work I guess. The best choice seems to be to not leave my fucking house on Election Day and to have a good alibi to prove I never voted at all. I'm still going to hear "you refused to fight for my righteous cause, you didn't say no to Hitler" for the next few years regardless..... God I hate politics.
I've said it before, but I have sympathy for Boomers. Their entire life, they've been The Target Audience for domestic propaganda. They live in a fake reality that was created for them. Those of us who came after them, lived on the edges of this reality, and we could see into it, but from where they stood, it was everything. That said, your family, Boomers or otherwise, are living in a delusional reality. You shouldn't let their delusions impact your choices or cause you any stress. It's like worrying what a pedophile might think about your sexuality. They are dysfunctional.

I think that the biggest problem with the youngest generation is that half of them are cynical when it comes to politics, and the the other half is being misled by grifters.

Too many Gen Z and Millennials making politics their entire personality, well I am a millennial myself but that particular overly political brainrot hasn't hit me. I couldn't really care less if Harris or Trump wins, but Trump winning would be a LOT funnier (and potent schadenfreude).

Remember that we're talking about an entire generation that thinks "getting informed" is being told what to think by the guy on TV. I've noticed this too, especially when talking about Israel and related topics- "Hitler," "WW2," and "holocaust" are thought-terminating cliches without equal. I feel bad for them as tools (I feel the same way about the Greatests, too, FWIW) but it's hard to get past the fact they were used to ruin absolutely everything.

In his eyes he "saved" America from the bad Orange Man, and the only thanks he gets is a coup from his own party and media who used him to do so.

Hope he fucks up the DNC Convention, if it even happens.
There is absolutely no way they let him speak in public again. Hell has he even been to work since the debate? All I've heard is he keeps bouncing between his home and the beach, with occasional stops for ice cream.

Was he even working before the debate? Really seems like whoever is actually running the show dropped all pretense after the debate. He's being allowed to spend what time he has left peacefully, not like he's good from anything else.
