There's a real fucking fedposty vibe in here today.
This all started because of talk about Trump’s sentencing next month.
Emerson poll suggests Harris up by only 4% on NH. wtf lol.

I'd like to see next month poll once everything settles. A lot of room for improvement.
Speaking of that, I think the sentencing will make polling absolutely batshit next month. I’m sure they’ll try to portray him as losing support.

So what does every one think the sentencing will be? I bet NY made a special room for Trump in Rickers and gonna try to can his ass there for a year.

To be fair, a lot of people want to provide a better life than they had for their kids, and knowing they likely won't be able to do that because of the cost can be a bitter pill to swallow, especially if they're already financially struggling. It also seems to be the case that when you're struggling to be responsible for yourself (pay your bills, rent, etc) it can depress your willingness/readiness to be responsible for someone else like a child in today's environment where it's not expected you're automatically going to have kids.

I promise not to make this a gender thing, but this touches exactly on the political disagreement that started it. Uncertainty and high costs of living have always depressed birthrates, it's why you see it drop during wars, depressions, recessions, and high inflation. The modern US argument is different.

You can clearly see the effect of 2 World Wars and the Great Depression, plus the Baby Boom that resulted from post-war prosperity. The "boom" was actually a return to historical levels... and turns into a plummet in 1960, the year the birth control pill was released. That stabilizes into a decades-long plateau that didn't respond to 1980s prosperity, the 1987 stock crash, 1990s prosperity, the 2000 dot com crash, the Bush or Obama recoveries, etc. The final decline starts with the Great Recession, a brief period of deflation, not inflation.

While everything you said about costs is true, there is something else overriding those effects for the last 60+ years. You can call it feminism, or culture, or technology, or late stage capitalism/empire, or whatever, But it predates modern culture war squabbling, it predates incels or girlbosses, it predates the Great Recession and the long economic malaise that supposedly doomed millenials' family formation.

What does this mean for Vance, cat ladies, and getting white women back to the GOP? The conventional wisdom is that you get them back by talking about the economy, promising to make things cheaper for the family, because that's what they care about. I say that doesn't work any more. The underlying assumption is that they care about a multi-person family, but there is a proven, secular trend of women abandoning both child-bearing and marriage itself.

(What about those married mothers? They respond to it, but they're already voting GOP, minus the loons who live in coastal liberal mega-cities.)

I claim that you aren't getting single white women back with any kind of political messaging, and whether @Justa Grata Honoria understands it or not she's supporting my point. Politics is downstream from culture. There needs to be a shift of attitude, not economics, that reverses the trend before politics can take advantage of it. Wherever that shift could come from, it's not going to be from two white guys on a Republican ticket.

The complaints about antagonizing a segment of the voting public--whether childless women or gay men or black felons or whoever--is meaningless if you are not in a cycle where you could win them anyway.

Needed to resort?
Faggot nigger bitch, muslims have been violent since day 0. Shias and Sunis have been slaughtering each other thoughout the """Islamic Golden Age""" trademark.
These motherfuckers are literal death cultists and the only, sole reason why the commie faggots of both the US and EU are acting blind is because of oil shaker investment and their flawed ideology about innerant human goodness and the fear of being called a raycist.

Exactly. Too many people don't seem to know that Muhammad was a warlord who formed a cult to get followers to create an army to conquer places. He wasn't the Jesus-like "peaceful prophet" they want you to think he was. Islam wasn't spread via him wondering around peacefully preaching and his followers doing the same. (And before anyone says that Christianity was spread through war and violence in general, Jesus wasn't a warlord and Christianity had already spread all over the place long before anybody was killing in its name.) Islam's ultimate goal is a 1 world Islamic government. A world under Sharia Law.

NH teeters on the edge of being a battleground state but the Dem always wins because it's not quite there

It's like PA was before Trump
I've been seeing a lot of Trump signs and flags in my area of the state but still, I'm not getting my hopes up. The majority here will still go with Kamalalalshambalacocksucker because, well, they're stupid.

Kyle Rittenhouse is also an indictment of the conservative respect for the police and the legal system. We have to hate the legal system just as much as the niggers do if we want it to be fair and not the kangaroo court it is now. When someone does the obviously right thing, they must be exempt from the consequences of the law because the process is now the punishment.

Exactly. Kyle just did the police's job. The only difference between a civilian and a cop should be that the cop has a duty to protect and serve and gets paid for it. A civillian doing the same thing for free should never be punished. Even though Kyle was found not guilty he was still punished by the process he should have never been subjected to.

Barely any government in history would be comfortable ceding their monopoly on violence.

I agree, of course. Power structures always focus on their continued survival though.

Question.

How tall is Kamala Harris and how tall is Tim Walz? My guess is half the debate issue is the fact that it’ll be Hillary all over again where Trump just towers over his opponent.

Joe was only a 4 inches shorter than Trump so the camera angle wasn’t hard during the debates (they still had them like a mile away on the stage though). Is Harris like average height for a woman? If she is than she’s losing votes. You can’t put a fucking 5’3 woman who can’t finish a sentence without cackling next to a 6’3-6’4 man. It’ll look real ridiculous. Manlets can sometimes command respect in spite of their stature, but women cannot. There’s a reason why women wear heels besides trying to show off their legs.

Vance should have kept his mouth shut on single childless women they are the biggest richest demographic in USA. There is a mid point between pandering and antagonising and thats not mentioning it. He is going to get curbstomped by any democrat crying out about he wanting women to be back to being chattel owned by their fathers and husbands

He said it years ago, dumbass. It's an old clip they dug up to use against him. Even though it should be a nothingburger, but childless cat-ladies like you are crying about it.
