Something that makes me sad is seeing the difference between mtf art and ftm art.
Mtf art is most of the times fetish art, not only women with penises but I've seen a lot of overlap with other fetishes like fat women, inflation, and other stuff. And ftm art is trying so hard to be artistic and emotional, even when pooners do show a fetishistic fascination with mutilation and scars they at least try to make it "cool" or "beautiful" looking iinstead of realistic, that's why they draw exaggerated but "aesthetic" zippertit scars with a ton of blood splattered everywhere.

Reminds me of this other AU where Adam's completely replaced by Eve.

Looks kinda neat, and Eve came from Adam's rib, so her being almost a copy of him makes perfect sense. But if this ends the way it does in the show, I can't see too many people liking Lucifer mocking and beating the shit out of the woman he manipulated and tricked into sinning.

Who here knows of an artist(s) whose work has gone through a sort of degradation phase?

Is anyone familiar (or recognizes) an artist by the name Miraongchua? A Calarts Alumni, They’re an artist in the animation industry, who’s been posting their work for at least a decade now online. Here’s some of her resume (from her own website) just to give you an idea of her experience.




Now if you were someone who was active in fandom culture (specifically for western cartoons) this person’s work may already seem familiar to you. Looking at her current numbers, you may find it hard to believe that she actually amassed a pretty decent level of online clout, in her heyday. Especially if you were a young artist. Not quite on ‘Rebecca Sugar’ levels of notoriety, but enough to be an inspiration to others.



Her art was very dream-like and impressive. She drew a lot of parallels from the Magic Girl anime genre. She really, really liked Mahou Shoujo.

Now take a look at some of her more recent stuff from the past 6 years.

Stiff, same-face, dull, un-inspired High-Guardian-Spice type of craft.



So, what happened?



Maybe story-boarding is a whole different ballpark then releasing comic books, which are supposed to be drawn with a degree of professionalism as you’re not just handing your work off to someone else to do the revision, you’re in charge of the first and final drafts. Even then I feel like her decline in art is just…a bit too ridiculous to not notice, especially in comparison to her previous works. It totally lacks that charm and rareness that made you think; ‘I’m looking at a rare piece of art made by a rare person with a lot of passion.’ These just seem so uninspired.
Mira has also (obviously) had sapphic undertones in her art for ages. From the moment of her conception on social media she was pretty obviously into girl on girl fiction. That’s all fine and dandy. However I can’t help but notice that this decline happened around the time she started putting pronouns in her bio and took an arguably more, ‘woke’ tone in not just her social media presence, but the content of her work as well.

The weirdest part about all of this to me, is how she’s completely nuked most of her old work from the internet. It’s eerie. She basically re-wrote her whole online history to the point where only her most recent stuff (from 2020) is what is front and facing to the public.


Oh, she’s also making a new comic. Guess what it’s about? Magical girls! However, there’s a twist.





You already know lmao. A magical girl comic featuring a tranny as the main character. Magical Girl = transgender allegory. Get it? How clever.
