@Null It's not webkit and gecko, it's Webkit (Safari ONLY) for the iphone plebs, Gecko for Firefox and Blink which is everything else (Chromium and derivatives).

Payment Processors Consneed After A Single Visit from A Samurai
Awhile back, Visa stopped processing payments from common Japanese Doujinshi sites (DL) because they are riddled with loli, beast, and all kinds of other fucked up, and purely fictional, drawn by crab handed basement creep blah blah blah content.
This is significant because without a japanese bank account, it was now impossible for anyone international to both purchase from DL owned sites as well as a few japanese versions of patreon which were not explicitly pornographic.
This was significant because this was a case of an international payment processor locking a foreign company out of the global market over content not only legal in japan, but legal in the US. In other words, the company was purely flexing it's power independently.
According to a bunch of gooks, and assuming my auto translation is working, Visa has literally no specific reason for this and has done so at requests of the banks. Some politician, I think a guy on the board of culture affairs? Yamada? Seems to have told them they were violating a massive amount of Moonrune law.
Within 8 days, the banks have Kneeled (WARNING, PORN SITE) and Visa is now able to be used to purchase games about things Vaush would call short stacked.
Just a daily reminder of what the world could look like if your politicians cared about you in the same way the japanese cared about your access to their fucked up tentacle porn.
