on the topic of this dogshit system shock playthrough, system shock does not hold your hand, there are no progression markers, you'll get a little mission detail now and then that gives you a footnote of your objective but otherwise there is no indication, it's a game that requires critical thinking, at least slightly, phil has none, he won't finish this game without a guide, i'll give an example of a puzzle near the end of the game

system shock's progression is like a "metroidvania" sort of game where you go through 9 levels of the space station the game takes place on, towards the end of the game, you need to enter in a code at a terminal (the code is random for every playthrough and you can't look it up) where do you get the code? well, you can find each number of the code flashing randomly on different screens on a completely different level of the station, and you only really get hints as to how to figure this out in the game, as far as i remember you're not told outright

i don't really need to explain that phil fucking sucks at games because it's pretty easy to tell but i think he expects this game to just be bioshock and i think he thinks you're gonna get magic and shit in this game

tldr: we're hopefully in for a good amount of crying and salt as he gets further and further into the game

Oh wow I never noticed that big mole on the left side of his head until now it's probably why we've never seen a full on textbook profile angle view of his head before. I'd pay to see that along with an actual dental examination report you know the one with all the teeth numbered and what issues they have.
 
Man imagine if dsp in his infinite paranoia, didnt update his windows and he gets fucked by the new vulnerability(which there is an update you should download to help you against it) and it just bricks his pc. Of course he could take it to a professional or fix it himself(hes too dumb to follow instructions)

Didn't stop him from beating Riven.

And by beating Riven, I mean reading a guide and listening to chat tell him what to do.

So, DSP is now basically as fat as he was before the weight loss saga, LOL.

I'm pretty sure he was on weight loss meds, maybe he got diagnosed with diabetes and was put on ozempic, cause now he has that melty "old man fat" look that people who used a lot of medication get.

Aslo, KC dents, stop saying this is not an alien, motherfucker looks like a cryptid.

If there was ever a time for Phil to come clean about everything with new lolcow degenerates watching and beat Joon to the punch, it's now. It could be a hell of a face turn if he honestly asks for forgiveness and help with his addictions. Just thinking about hypotheticals that will never happen.
