I think it might have something to do with what a reporter said today on CNBC. She basically said behind the scenes Kamala has been telling donors and party leaders she is going to run a moderate campaign but then she goes out and runs towards insane leftist policies. This has upset people behind the scenes because she told them one thing and doing something completely different.

They feel she can just win on a "vibes" platform like Obama and not have to say anything about policy at all but now they think she will scare people off and do significant damage to her campaign. This also goes back to Obama not believing she can win, and an Obama adviser said Obama feels like there are too many landmines out in front of her. That as time goes on she is going to start stepping on these landmines and damage her campaign. I think the last 48-72 hours she had stepped on quite a few landmines, and she now has the convention with possible violence from Palestinians, and a couple of debates with Trump.

Some have theorized that CNN was promised things like interviews and exclusive coverage on the Kamalla campaign in order to support throwing Biden out the door. But because Kamalla knows that exposing herself like that is the last thing she should do, she decided to ghost that and return back to the basement campaign strategy. So the guys behind CNN are mad and as a result are spooling down the starling media coverage.

The standard tit-for-tat is that good coverage of a candidate translates to that candidate giving the outlet exclusivity. For whatever reason that I cannot fathom, Kamala Harris is not doing this. It's not like CNN will orchestrate gotcha interviews or try to make Harris or Walz look bad. I find it strange that her campaign is so tight-lipped at the moment. Scuttlebutt says Harris is a probationary candidate and knows she's a weak horse. Thus, she may be pursuing a basement strategy so that her poll numbers don't tank.

However, Harris can only run on "yas kween" and "wypipo don sazon dey fewd" energy for so long. Eventually, people want to know what your plan is, and issuing platitudes - or straight up copying Trump - is not going to work. Harris is notoriously bad at running campaigns and she does not attract top talent in this domain for two reasons: she has a bad track record (more serious people don't want to fuck up their resume by associating with her) and she's difficult to work with. She had so many competent people to learn from and instead sat on her hands. Willie Brown was a successful politician and the only thing that rubbed off on her was his spooge. Her career as AG of California was milquetoast and her Senate career was basically "Orange Man Bad™." VPs historically don't do anything, but it's basically a chance to shadow the President and be groomed to run for President yourself. She didn't try to advance her career at all.

Harris, in my estimation, coasted her entire political and prosecutorial career. Now she's trying to play with the big boys and she's basically Nemo with two shitty fins and no dad. It's like an incel getting his perfect woman and instead he goes home and goons.

I don't know what everyone else's history lessons were like, but in social studies we were taught that prices being fixed reduced incentive to make products as it cost more to make then what is earned selling the product, and even mentioning widespread price fixing should raise alarm bells in anyone that has received a proper education.

He said something that the medal of freedom which presidents give out is better than other medals, because how the medal of honor is given posthumously in many cases. It's their new attempt to say Trump hates the military since the soldiers being losers and suckers was so completely unbelievable to anyone outside the DC Beltway. That this is the best they can say about Trump right now shows they are consistently on the back foot.

What used to be a weekly trip for about $75 of groceries in 2019 is now $125 consistently. This is normal foodstuffs, milk, bread, a frozen pizzas and meals, soda, fresh meat and cheese for sandwiches, a protein for a real meal 2-3 times a week, etc. And not only is it more expensive you get less for everything. Every third week or so add another 50 for cleaning supplies or detergents, it's ridiculous and has been ever since mid '21.

Honestly I’m not entirely sure what the benefit of going through the naturalization process is for most immigrants. We essentially let them reap all the benefits with none of the costs.
