In other news, Nyk is being a depraved sociopath as usual.

There's a clip currently going viral of Elon Musk being interviewed by everyone's favorite Zio-shill crackhead Jordan Peterson where he tells a genuinely heartbreaking story about how his son trooned out and then cut off contact with him and how he feels deep remorse over losing that relationship. At one point Elon merely repeats the definition of what "deadnaming" means when TRAs use the word (if anything his mistake here is actually being too accommodating to the TRA framing of the issue) and Nyk lies here and pretends like he's saying "my kid is dead to me" to defame him as some kind of evil abusive father who abandoned his kid for coming out as trans. Of course this is just objectively false; once again it was the son who chose to go no contact with his father, not the other way around, which is also something TRAs routinely tell the kids they groom eggcrack to do (shout out to Jeffrey Marsh!) but it shouldn't be surprising to anyone here that Nyk is just a projecting lying piece of shit.

I think what's really causing Nyk's nasty little meltdown here is how for years he's openly advocated a whole abusive NPD ethos that revolves around cynically using emotional storytelling to manipulate the drooling peasant masses he despises so much to get whatever he wants at the moment only to turn around and see Elon using this exact tactic successfully in the "wrong" direction (from Nyk's perspective at least).

I know twitter bullshit doesn't really matter, but 45k likes on this is so baffling. Nyk is just repackaging Fox News Boomer takes on 'slacktivism' circa 2012 and suddenly these idiots think its Pulitzer Prize worthy original commentary.

A lot of left wing tweets get suspiciously huge numbers considering the account tweeting. For example, this account is a nobody with 649 followers even after he supposedly got 4M impressions.

how much of this thread is entirely based on Nykys' input? from what i remember it seemed mostly like they did all the deep diving and research followed by people just commenting and responding to it. Also i thought his parents were academics for Georgetown, how does that square with being religious conservatives?

Contra came up in part two of the two part followup to the Witch Trials of JK Rowling, You Can't Say That.

If you've got the time, it's worth a listen. Both part 1 and part 2, but the contra parts come up in part 2.

They didn't have Contra on himself, but they quote from bits of his tardraging video after his appeared on Witch Trials. Like about how he feels like he was tricked or some shit, which is silly.

I don't have the patience to sit through a full contra video, but it's funny, the bits they quoted from Contra's rebuttal was basically Contra parodying Witch Trials but about Anita Bryant, the notorious 70's era anti-gay activist. Basically Contra went into a bit where he tried to humanize Anita Bryant and talked about how she grew up in poverty and was beaten left and right by an abusive husband (an analogy for the Witch Trials covering JK Rowling's abuse from her first husband).

Contra was basically like "it's silly you're trying to humanize Rowling, we might as well humanize ANITA BRYANT LOLL".

Except Contra actually did a good job at humanizing Anita Bryant. He made me genuinely curious about the life story of this notorious homophobe and what motivated her.

I mean, I would've just assumed she was some batshit southern baptist homophobe and left it at that.

So, uhh, point made? Except not really the point Contra was trying to make.

The vast majority of people critical of Khelif and Yu-Ting's inclusion in the Women's boxing leagues are actually fully aware of the distinction between the typical Buffalo Bill porn-addict AGPs like Nyk and XY males who were born with some form of Disordered Sex Development. Nyk is playing dumb and lying by pretending that they don't. And even if there was some kind of misconception here troons have no one to blame but themselves.

For years we have been told by TRAs explicitly and in no uncertain terms that "trans" is an umbrella term that includes people with intersex conditions, ergo intersex people are in fact trans (at least according to them). But the moment it became inconvenient suddenly trans and intersex are two completely different things and how dare you spread right wing misinformation by conflating them. It is absolutely breathtaking how often troons can switch up their talking points on a dime like this and effortlessly gaslight and call you crazy for pointing out how their bullshit rhetoric keeps contradicting itself.

I have to wonder if people with DSDs are ok with this kind of hot and cold forced teaming troons keep trying to do with them the same way many LGB people are fed up with the forced teaming troons have been doing to them too.
