I just want to touch on this one final time tonight because I really want to talk about the DNC shitshow and protests, then get back to shistposting, because I love shitposting.
This topic is very important to discuss, as it's poisoned US politics for some 40 years and will be a very hard battle to fight. Keep in mind, I am not a political expert, but I am an expert in faggotry and its basic history, and I think that's a useful tool to pick apart what's gone wrong.
I'll spoiler it all because it's not ultimately crucial, but just some insight to consider. It's going to come off as schizo-posting, probably, but if you're interested it might be a fun read.
For context, this is from the perspective who had a front row seat outside the faggot circus, but never fully subscribed to its bullshit. This is probably thanks to OGs George Carlin and Robin Williams,, observational comedy having me skeptical of extremes and outlandishness. If not for stand up comedy I'd be COMPLETELY retarded, and not just a bit retarded.
Larry and Bog are correct, the Right playing nice and pushing traditional avenues to express love would have never worked, because love was never the goal. The ones who pushed for it being about love may have once thought so, but those people have either been radicalized by now or ousted from their own circles.
Normalcy was ultimately not the goal, the goal was to grow an ever-loyal crop of niggercattle who would become desensitized and numb to the problems going on right now. Unquestioning, unthinking, and and unnoticing of how they're being played for fools.
There was a propaganda campaign that's gone out of control. From "we just want to be accepted and not hated" to "if you disapprove, you're a bigot." The rhetoric became venomous, increasingly violent, and intolerant. Radical. And it happened FAST. And it WORKED.
The reason the Right playing nice would not have worked is because the framing of the treatment of the homosexuals was always in the hands of the Left and democrat "allies."
At some point, I'm going to say in the 2010s, maybe late 00's, there was a notable shift in tone from within the community empathy-wise. Dehumanization of people who supposedly dehumanize you. At least on the internet. That cesspool tumblr especially. "Us versus them," not, "we want to be part of them."
This came from kids, teenagers, people whose lives hadn't started yet, and who would be able to vote in the future, most likely mixed in with lunatic adults teaching them these things.
There was an active effort to put a target on how the more conservative part of America behaved, and to sell shit like the Westboro Baptist Church as the default. The thing you should fear, told to you by people who want you to fear IT, and not THEM. They're just sharing how horrible the world is, how could it be wrong?
It was scary, because you could see the cult form in real time, and watch people go from he to they in just a span of two years (won't power level, but this did happen. It sucked.)
You could see people making this niche part about themselves EVERYTHING they were, hollowing themselves out in the process, until all that remained was a mouthpiece for accepted opinion within the herd.
They just stopped being people, and became their labels and public assigned definitions.
Faggots. They became faggots. Faggotry became their entire life. Cooming and gender and fandoms and cancelling whoever didn't abide by a strict social doctrine. Faggots, all the way down.
And most tragically, the only thing you could do was watch. Without much say in the matter. The wisdom to articulate what was wrong and the courage to do so wasn't there for a lot of the ones who sidestepped this brainwashing. You also couldn't say anything, because you did not want to get lumped in with the people the faggots feared, because the faggots are your people by association, and your friends. They're the UNDERDOGS, and it's important to support both your people and the underdogs, against the big bad GOP.
It became a fucking cult. A loud, loud, LOUD minority that became a profitable snowball. Pride became corporate, DEI was pushed into everything, and somehow the faggots still thought all the while they were the victims in all of this.
Brains just turned off. All at once. POOF. Individuality gone. They became a statistic and tool, with very clear instructions: Do not be critical of the good guys, do not defend the racists and bigots, do not ask questions. An entire generation of young people slowly turned into ravenous attack dogs against "Normal."
Normal is evil, Normal is what the Republicans want, instead, you should desire a "New Normal," a New Normal defined by the people who have your best interests in mind, your allies that support your heckin' valid genderinos and kinky bullshit.
The Democrats had turned hundreds of thousands of people, no, a GENERATION, into a new golem, weaponizing the internet to do so. And you could see it happen over time, and watch from within as something I personally considered nothing special became a leash for people I wouldn't recognize as the enemy until much later.
And now? They're pushing what they did on tumblr and other internet spaces into schools, because "education is the best tool for social justice," from the mouth of fat Hawaiian bitch herself. Everything I talked about above was the formation of social justice values and the establishment of its guidelines.
As "New Normals" are established, what used to be sane and sensical becomes conservative propaganda, genocidal and intolerant. And the underlying message of the alphabet soup community became one thing, progress under any circumstances, no matter how evil and corrupt it is.
In other words:
"We will not go back."

In principle, I'm completely against their protests. Their opposition cannot protest without ANTIFA or the law cracking down on having dissenting opinions, yet will throw a tantrum whenever things don't go their way under state protection. I hope they eat each other alive.
