Philosophy Tube / Oliver Lennard / Oliver "Olly" Thorn / Abigail Thorn - Breadtube's Patrick Bateman.

I'm not gonna watch the video but just clicked on a random bit to see what came up and it was this:

Monkey see monkey do? Except he can't even get that right. His performance was so unnatural, to the point where it baffled people. Everything about him is so artificial.

I can't bear listening to him talk for too long but I skipped around and heard some points of interest.

At around 54:00 someone asks if looking back he would have done everything differently on his HotD appearance, and his response seemed kind of bitter. It definitely seems like the poor reaction to his character is weighing him down. He says "there's always moments where you're like 'Oh, I wish they'd used a different take' or 'Why'd they do that on this shot'?" before sort of trailing off and changing the subject. He puts a lot of emphasis on "listening to the director" and that if the director is happy with it, he's succeeded at doing his job as an actor, which to me seems like him trying to blame the director for his shitty performance.

But he goes on to say how he was amazed by how positive [sic] the reception to his character was; the examples he gives are the fact that he was asked to do interviews for a couple of online outlets, that both he and his character were highly searched for following the airing of the episode, and that there's been "loads of memes and fanart and fan fiction and stuff", which in his opinion makes Lohar the "breakout character of the season". He conspicuously left out what the people doing the searching were actually saying about his character, and the "memes, fanart and fanfiction" seems to consist of that one "I want you to fuck my wives" screencap he made himself, and 3 smutty 🤢 fanfics on Archive of Our Own which are all about a paragraph long, one of which was actually written in 2023 and is about the version of the character that appears in the book, and another of which is written in Russian. I looked pretty hard for some fan art but the only one (singular) I found was of the book version of the character. Amazing how he managed to find a 500 word Russian fanfic but apparently missed all the dozens of posts and comments with tens of thousands of upvotes about how fucking awful his acting is ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

He says something revealing around the 59:00 mark, that he gets depressed whenever he's done shooting something and he has to do "normal" things like take out the trash or go grocery shopping, because he's obviously so much better than the rest of us plebes and shouldn't have to lower himself to our level.

He then has the cheek to follow that up with "I'm a trans woman in Britain with a great deal of prominence, because trans people, if you don't know, are made to live with some bad material conditions", as if he isn't filthy rich and can't just ask his family to buy him whatever "material conditions" he wants. The examples he gives are "healthcare" and "legal rights" and then stumbles over his words a bit probably realising that it would be a bad look to talk about trans people being broke or homeless when he's very obviously not either of those things.

Towards the end of the stream at about 1:19:00 someone asks him how he's been doing and he does this really awful thing where he pretends to be really emotional and on the verge of tears and REALLY starts forcing the airy-fairy feminine voice, and of course it wouldn't be complete without a vague reference to Contrapoints (following up talking about falling in love by saying that "didn't think I could still do that" and that he had "nightmares" about "old regrets"). Just really repulsive and manipulative behavior. Eugh. Watch if you dare:

Maybe he would find greater success taking his acting in a more Jim Carrey direction with his disgusting elongated moon face

Luckily he can spend most of spare time playing a woman.

I am unsurprised by Toob's 'I am too good for this' attitude. The school he went to is notorious in Newcastle for being full of posh little shits who wouldn't deign to even walk down the street themselves when they could hitch a five minute ride back to Gosforth in Mummy's Range Rover.
Funnily enough, there's a pretty successful actress (She played Svetlana in The Death Of Stalin) who went to one of the other 4 private schools in that part of Jesmond. She grew up in Whitley Bay, which was a lot rougher then than it is now, and actually is from a working class background since her parents were, iirc, a car salesman and a beautician. I wonder if Toob ever thinks about her.

Watching the first few minutes... maybe I've missed and this has already been discussed, but has he had *both* buccal fat removal and also high cheek fillers? There's something uncanny going on there - and we know his torso is still a flabby brick.

Also, he's sounding really fake American, rather than his usual posh-RP-but-sometimes-emphasises-a-Northern-word-bc-FakeWorkingClass!

Andrea Riseborough? I saw her in bloodline and had no idea she was Bri’ish. Chube could never.

Kekekekek, he said it again, eh?
Looks like we have another official Ollyism to join "my Deadvoice".

Make no mistake, the fact that he has felt the need to actually coin, and repeat the term "Backseat Acting! (No-)" is fucking hillarious.

It's like a crap and violent footballer calling a referee a backseat athlete.
It's utterly, utterly insane as a concept, and it speaks to his narcissism breaking his brain into peices over the massive, unignorable tidal wave of normies calling his acting shit.

As a term, for us,
it is hillarious and a gift.

When you find yourself inventing new, embarrassing phrases that don't exist because they are a contradiction in terms, to try to force down people saying what is only objective truth, that you are bad at something... It's really time to reassess.
Tube is literally trying to FORBEY THE CONCEPT OF BAD ACTING!
Just because he is a bad actor.

It's actually exactly like when he (attemptedly) forbayed the concept of gender dysphoria, lmao
He really tries to bend existence to his will, wielding a philosophy uni degree as a weapon against the possible diea that he isn't the absolute best most moral most vindicated and heroic non-StraightWhiteRichMale to messiah his way on thru.
Breathtaking narcissism from him again, bravo honestly

The normies will have hurt the most - he can call his haters haters, he only holds his fans in lower regard so their adulation means nothing too-but the people he always wants to impress, are the ones would couldn't care one way or the other, but just happen to think he's not up to snuff, to put it mildly.

Unfortunately for him, some of those floating voters also happen to be in the industry (its last vestiges not already poisoned by his own noxious behaviour & subsequent word of mouth, anyway).

His career is over, Chubelets.

Helen Joyce, former mathematician turned current gender critical activist, was interviewed for some gay dude's podcast. As a preview for the entire conversation, he released a clip where Joyce respond's briefly to clip from Oliver.

I support independent journalism, but can someone leak the full video? It's paywalled on the guys sub stack

I haven't watched it but here's the link if anyone wants to dive in.

I tried to watch it while playing CK2 with the AGOT mode.
  • One minute in and Chube tells us that transphobia and backseat acting aren't allowed.
  • Chube had his music too loud for the first 20 minutes and only tuned down to explain his 'technique'.
  • Chube looks like if Moonman cosplayed as a menopausal woman. Skinwalker mannerisms.
  • Around the 11 minute mark is talk about The Prince and how it served to get some gigs. Says that deliberately went into HOTD with a 'funnier' take on his character and it just so happens that Condal and Hess wanted that. Standard audition talk.
  • 20 minutes onward is for his 'technique' and how he got the role. Yes, he also talks about it at 44 minutes, he talks in circles. Mentions animal studies, then Chekhov and Laban which will probably be explained in a future video on acting. If you want to see this I suggets you start here because not long later Chube talks about crafting Sharako and how 'if you really look for it' you are going to notice how layered she is. Chube is in Sharako is a woman camp. Says that Tyland was the butt of the joke in their shared scene and that the arc of season is 'woman in power and men not getting it'. Says he likes to use a piece of clothing his character may use to get into their head and for Sharako it was a big, bulky pair of boots. According to Chube his agent showed The Prince to the producers, not his YouTube channel. The 'are you a philosopher?' line was 'pure coincidence'.
  • 44 is repeating the acting explaining just in less detail.
  • By 50 is talk about how much he enjoys acting, how he still makes a living because of YouTube. Doesn't know if he will return. Says that it felt nice to be part of something so big and that at least the creatives let him be.
  • 1 hour mark is your government mandated 'I'm the most notable trans person in Britain'. Chube talks about some other trans actresses and how 'snatched' they are. Is Chube insecure about lack or curves or can we expect a plastic saga?
  • I picked the Dance of the Dragons campaign as Ormund Hightower and my only highlights were executing Rhaenyra and mounting a dragon in the same gameplay. I decided to play it because the HOTD thread made me go full Reach master race and I didn't want to pay for CK3 to restore House Gardener. Between the video and my attempts to exterminate the Iron Islands being unsuccesful it stopped being fun so I just gave up and huffed some sharpies.
  • I'm glad I didn't have to finish it because some of you actually only watched the end.
  • Thank you for reading. I can't believe how much I hate the Ironcucks.

Do you know what? This was actually kind of funny. This tranny gremlin is capable of making a good joke
He always has been.
I wonder what observations he has on Oliver, that me may even share a slice of eventually... When tube inevitably, and I mean inevitably, fucks him over one bridge too far.

I think I need my eyes bleached after this. Is he not self aware at all about how ugly he looks? The surgeries have successfully made him look less like a human and more like a weird member of a spacefaring elvish race in one of those shitty 70s sci fi movies.

Can anyone tell me how the fuck he got into a hollywood production in the first place? He's not even good at acting. Are his parents rich or something?
