Capitol Police protect Members of Congress. I imagine the whole force was offered unlimited Federal overtime to reinforce the Chicago PD (along with every other fed police force since every agency has one).

Exactly, which is why is the Black Bloc does something Monday Night, it's not going to be to attack the DNC directly. Remember, behind the cops are the SS, Federal Marshalls and other glowies who aren't afraid of catching felony assault or murder charges if the mob reaches them. I'd expect the Bloc to attack a lightly manned police sub-station or federal building, attempt to burn it down or something much like how they did in Portland and Seattle in 2020. Combined with feral nigger looting sprees after dark, I think they're counting on police presence to end up spreading itself thin trying to cover everything, and *then* they go after the DNC.

Of course if the National Guard end up being called out, then things get really spicy.

What makes you think any of these people would be charged with felonies if they seriously harm or kill riots, especially rioters who have broken the perimeter and are trying to storm the convention center? They'll get a medal and a promotion if anything.

He's unclearly saying that they won't get in trouble for any violence against the rioters.

I don't think the bloc is getting near the DNC at all. They have that place locked down, and they aren't going to let it crack. It's the other areas that will be allowed to burn.

The Jimmy Dore video from earlier showed the rich areas putting up fences, the question is whether they'll be manned. It's probably enough to stop the looters but not if Antifa gets there first to cut the fences down. My bet is the targets will be banks and Starbucks outside the fencing areas, plus whatever Nike store failed to hire armed guards.
