I think the picture earlier in the thread is possibly just her having a really bad 'not giving a fuck' day. Can you blame her? The whole fucking thing is a sham. I'd be uncaring and lazy too if I were forced to endorse some dumb alcoholic bitch to make "black girl magic" happen.

Maybe it's a form of petty sabotage? Who knows?

Here's an outfit from I think 2021, she looks really good here. What I said about details around the waist applies, it has a slimming effect, and the layer beneath the suit in black draws the eye AWAY from areas you might want to cover or hide, like the shoulders.

Fashion faggotry in the US Politics General thread is okay so long as it's about politicians, right?
I think these are fair points.

plus doing mass deportations might be the shock needed to get those trending downward.
Mass deportations would really drop prices in a lot of areas. Where I grew up there are a few towns that became targets for illegals. One town has been almost entirely taken over by Brazilians. While a good number are probably legal at this point they are still importing more and more illegals and the problem is spreading. They have moved out from the town center and are taking over single family housing. They will have someone who is legally in the US act as a kind of straw-buyer and then move in five to ten illegals who kick in whatever they do not send home, drink, or smoke.

The state has known this is an issue for twenty years because the cops tried to stop the invasion early on only to be threatened with reduced funding.

The original wave who took over the downtown area actually care about it and seem to be okay. Crime is pretty unheard of in the general area but where the newer illegals are piling up crime is increasing and houses just get chewed up. Yards are not maintained. Drugs flow.

This has caused families to flee to neighboring areas. The pandemic obviously screwed up prices as well because there is a major city nearby but house rentals used to be 700-900 a month max for modest two bedroom one bathroom homes or apartments. Now it is 1500 minimum for the worst ones.

If they went through and removed the illegals and evicted/jailed those who aided and abetted them(yeah that is the other part of the whole process anyone who was giving them homes or jobs needs to be put away for awhile as an example) the area would almost certainly return to what it was when I left which was a place for blue collar workers to live especially younger people just getting started in life.

Mass deportations would break the economy of this country for years. We should still do it, but do so understanding what it is we're asking for; The biggest labor crunch since the Romans ran out of slaves and market correction since the great depression.

It is sincerely difficult to overstate just how much the current paradigm depends on the exploitation of cheap labor.

We're right back to 2020 style elections again.

Trump might win so the Dems are going all out. So much for "calming the rhetoric".

The DNC is on the verge of calling for someone to "stop Trump no matter the cost" and then of course backing down and saying "oh no we didn't mean kill him, just that Trump is the biggest threat to America and anyone who stops him would be a great American Hero but no not kill, never kill. We disavow anything like that. We just meant non-violently beat Trump until he stops breathing"

Bloody hypocrites.

Yeah but arguing to just keep it is like arguing that you should keep shooting up smack because it will really really suck to stop.

How about we start with the millions here who are just living off the government? That a good starting point? Then we can decide who is here illegally but should be extended some kind of parole?

How the fuck are you gonna get to three months (12 weeks) and not know?
People find it very easy to ignore and block out things that they don't want to know. Your brain is constantly doing this sort of filtering. It's how anorexics can think that they're fat or hoarders can live in piles of filth.

I just want you to understand that if we do this NOTHING will be cheaper, for a very long time.
Nothing will be cheaper for a long time regardless. You realize that some things are severely broken and will need a long time to fix? Any short term method to fix the economy (like price gouging) it's literally going to make the hole you have to crawl of deeper. It is literally why 3rd world countries remain 3rd world.

The people will have to clench hard and go through some rough times before it gets better if they truly want the old US superpower back.

Yesterday KY Governor Andy Beshear said someone in Vance's family should be raped so he can go through what he protests against, and then doubles down on it by acting like Vance is playing the victim. Dumb white liberal who only got where he is on his daddy's name:
Are the democrats okay?! Did they snorted coke before this interview?! Are they all lunatics? Or the adults have left the room ....

The people sperging against birth control are fucking retarded. We've seen how well abstinence only education works in the places that tried it: it doesn't.
Exactly. Kids will do stupid shit 100% of the time. No exception.

That's why we as society should offer a generous benefit for bringing a baby to full term and mitigate abortion.

You mistake my observation for an objection. You're preaching to the choir rn

I should probably state my priors, which is that I want a lot of banks, landlords, and commercial property holders to lose vast sums of money and/or go bankrupt. I think a crash in the housing market would cause another Great Recession... and I'm fine with that. The system needs to be reset. The pain is justified.

A lot of boomers and families whose wealth is tied up in their housing would also be hurt, which I'm not happy about but similarly think needs to happen. A house should not be your retirement plan, other than as a place to grow old and retire securely in.

Right now the system is so fucked that older people and retirees are selling their houses to make up for the difference between Social Security and inflated costs. Tanking the housing market is a direct hardship for the ones who need to do that, and a direct benefit for the younger generations. In the long term it benefits everyone, but to be blunt, some people aren't living long enough to realize the benefit.

It is sincerely difficult to overstate just how much the current paradigm depends on the exploitation of cheap labor.

True. However, deportations or not, we're in an unsustainable labor setup that will crash one day. I'd rather do it on our own terms, directed in a way that provides maximum benefit for those who go through it. The worst case scenario is we get the crash and we keep the factors that caused it to build in the first place.

Naturally there's no way someone can package all this pain and disruption as a viable political package. It's political suicide to say it outright. The best I can hope for is getting the key pieces in place, plus politicians aware enough to cushion things through it. This would be easier with a strong, productive economy to act as a cushion; maybe it's a pre-requisite.

But even if we don't have that now, I think every year we put off the reckoning it gets worse.

Yet plenty of MAGA retards (including a ton in this thread) want to ban birth control and Republicans even voted to not protect access to it. It's coming if Trump wins.

There's also non-sex reasons for women to need birth control, but the people who want to ban birth control are typically hugless incels so of course they don't know that

Lmao are you retarded. Trump didn't ban abortion on his term and he won't in his 2nd term because that's not a federal problem.

I always find it funny how many adult women are like "hurr men so stoopid! they think wymn pee out vagoomba! hands off our bodies duurrrrrrr!"

But they themselves are completely unaware that your chances of getting pregnant greatly fluctuate based on your hormone cycle, some days it's unlikely some days it is virtually guaranteed.

Maybe better education for both men and women would be better than caving babby's heads in with mallets.
